Doctor of Chiropractic, Wendy Shimer has over 13 years of training and experience in giving spinal adjustments to patients. Her patients range from children to seniors and anyone in between. The goal of Shimer Chiropractic is to help all clients reach their level of optimum health as quickly as possible.
We are very excited to have you as a new patient to our practice. Below you will find our new patient forms and documentation. After completing the forms, bring them with you to your first appointment at our Longmont office. The forms are in a PDF format, which can be read by AdobeReader. The New Patient Health History Form is required because it helps Dr. Wendy Shimer, DC understand your health history and current health condition and concerns.

My 13-year-old son and I both started seeing Dr. Shimer recently - me for various lifelong chronic pain issues and my son for a sports-related injury. In the short time we've been patients of hers, she has helped us so much, and I feel so blessed to call her a part of our healing circle. Her vast knowledge and natural intuition are a rare find, and her genuine concern for her patients' well-being (along with a fantastic sense of humor!) will keep us coming back!

Are you looking for friendly, intricate, professional chiropractic care? Look no further! I came in for pain on my lower spine while I drive and not only did that improve, but my perception of walking did as well. I had things wrong with me that I didn’t even know I had. I had not been adjusted in almost a year. Dr. Shimer took the time to explain her adjustment process, and she also spent time learning about my family history. She provided thorough care and taught me the importance of proper walking. She also provided me some useful stretching exercises to keep me flexible. I would recommend Dr. Shimer!

When Dr. Shimer opened her own practice, I was ecstatic! I hunted her down when she left her former employer until I could find her because she is that good. Dr. Shimer has helped me so much with strength, core exercises, and, finally, I can stand up straight. She has a very gentle touch if that is what you need, and she explains everything she is doing and why. I will NEVER see another Chiropractor again. If you have not tried going to a Chiropractor before, you should come see Dr. Shimer. She is DEFINITELY worth the visit. Highly recommend.

Wendy (Dr. Shimer) is simply fantastic. She has wonderful chiropractic skills and awesome equipment. I began seeing Wendy when she was practicing at The Joint and followed her when she started up her own practice in Longmont. Among her new equipment is a wonderful chiropractic bed that does everything but hug you and pat you on the head. I highly recommend Dr. Shimer.

Wendy Shimer is possible the best chiropractor that I have ever seen! I have been seeing a chiropractor most of my life and she is the most thorough in my experience. Her prices are quite responsible, especially since she takes time to evaluate you each time she sees you. I have sent others to see her and would highly recommend her.
