My husband and I work in Sherman but we live in Uptown Dallas. He mentioned that he had been craving good nachos for days. I did a little research and found this Gem! We ordered steak nachos (the steak was very tender), ceviche, and guacamole. Our booth looked directly into a spotless and organized kitchen . My husband had the vantage point to see that every item we ordered was made fresh as Camino Viejo states on their website. Everything was absolutely perfect including the service and the deserts we ordered to go - Flan & Tres Leches Cake. We are going to make it a point to go at least once

Food was cooked exactly as I expected, the guacamole was to spicy for my wife but that meant more for me (Yea). Service is 4 star. Tea comes in plastic tumblers (red for sweet- clear for unsweetened). Our bill was less than $35. Soccer was on TV. Music was good. Did I mention how good our service was, the restaurant was busy but never crowded. Enjoy your meal.

My family came in for lunch yesterday and were not impressed at all. Our chips were stale and the waitress said sorry it’s all we have. My Coca Cola came from an old 2liter bottle and had no carbonation what so ever. The entrees were okay, but my refried beans tasted burnt. To top it all off, we tried to pay for our meal in cash and was told they had no change. All around bad experience. The waitress was very kind, but didn’t seemed bothered with the horrible food being served.

The atmosphere and the wait staff where nice. I ordered the chicken stuffed with a poblano pepper and it was absolutely great. The flavor, flaky breading and the presentation was very good. The other order I had was the pork tamales they we're not good. They're mostly Masa there's barely any meat there with little flavor. The rice and beans were flavorless to me. These reasons here are why I gave it 3 stars. It's not all bad and there are some good dishes there

Cute atmosphere and waitresses seem friendly. The prices are a little high for a small town. Salsa is decent but chips are very thin and crumble easy. They have nice options for sides... refried pinto, frijoles charros, black beans, lime cilantro rice, etc. Rice and beans are tasty! I will say I asked for a jalapeño pepper (i needed some spice for my food) and they brought me a serrano and charged me a dollar for a raw chile. It is extremely tacky to charge for that!
