I have ordered online, on the phone, and thru Grubhub from them 6 times. The only time they ever got the order right is when the owner himself took it. I've spent over $120 dollars on those 6 meals and $20 worth was done right. Go to McDonalds. You have a better chance of getting your order right there. When you ask meat to be well done it should not be red. When an order comes with a salad and Texas toast it should be in the sack. I left my number for the owner/manager because I was told he was busy almost 2 hours ago. Still no call.

Good food, two dollar margaritas on Sunday which is awesome, had to take away a star because my partner wanted the 50oz steak but the butcher wasn't there. We came all the way from Dallas just for that😢 but we still enjoyed our food and will definitely be back again. It also helps that it's 30 minutes from the casino so even though we didn't get a 50oz steak we decided to use the money we would have spent on it and used it at the casino😊

After searching on Yelp for a nice restaurant to celebrate our 51 st anniversary while visiting family on our vacation from Canada, we were not disappointed last night with the whole experience at the Trail Dust Steakhouse.
Starting with our apps: fried pickles, mushrooms and the haystack, perfect, served fresh and hot with our beverages and most enjoyed by all.
Entries consisted of a couple of Maverick's, a combo, a California chicken and a Rifleman. The steaks were very well seasoned and perfectly cooked as ordered and again , very much enjoyed.
No one had room for desert.

Come here! Order your favorite cut the way you want and get it. Paid a hell of a lot more for a steak and not this good. Servers were great. Fast and on point. Started with the fried pickles. Excellent choice. They not to sour or salty and batter let's you still enjoy the pickle. Got the filet on the rare side of medium rare and bullseye! What a great but if meat too. Partners likes more done. Butterfly medium and bang on the money. Don't know how many times miss miss miss. These guys are just on point. I saw the stars and read reviews. This is a long story from decades of experience. Growing up in Colorado we've gone to Traildust many times.
They use to cook over Misquite wood.
Their food was something special and full flavored (in Colorado).
Don't get me wrong, the steaks here were good, but not special.
The atmosphere seemed run down a bit. Our waitress Anna was perfect (we tipped her well). Everyone enjoyed the appetizers of fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and breaded mushrooms. They brought out the traditional ranch beans and Texas toast on request. The beans we're a little runny and Bland compared to the one in Colorado

Waited at the front for twenty minutes before the server even acknowledged me. She sat a couple in front of me and another couple that cut the line. Then she sat a group of bikers. Finally looked at me and said she couldn’t seat a single even though there were open tables everywhere. It was now 7:20 pm and they closed at 8:00. Told her I was leaving and received a couldn’t care less look. Called the manger from the parking lot. His response was that they were busy. Been a regular there. I won’t be back.

I came here this evening to Sanger TX (not far from the Oklahoma state line) for a ribeye steak. The service by staff was great, as my food was brought quickly. The 16 oz steak had good flavor, and was well prepared.
With 6 fried shrimp, baked potato and side salad, it came up to almost $30 including tip.
I would come back to this restaurant for another nice meal.

This Place has the best burger, stake and shrimp that has ever entered my mouth! Absolute perfection. 10/10 would recommend. I'd eat 100 burgers here before I ever put another fast food burger in my mouth and… even then, I'd spit out the other guys burger for dramatic effect and grace my mouth with Parker Parker brother's delicious Fried shrimp

Was really hoping to relive the days of the old location on US-380, but sit here quite let down. For this visit, we ordered 2 Bronc Busters, a Chicken fried steak, and fried mushrooms. Fried mushrooms were decent, but, quite frankly, the sirloins and CFS were a bit subpar. Waitress offered a different dish, which we turned down, before ultimately removing the CFS from the ticket. We appreciate both the replacement offer as well as removing the disliked item from the ticket.
One of the motivations for visiting was a coupon we had. After all, it is a bit of a drive.

My BFF's Dad recommended this place. This is an authentic Texas Roadhouse type restaurant without the franchise feel. Lots of big ol' Texas trucks in the parking lot.
We went on a Saturday evening and got there about 6pm. As you enter there's a dancefloor with a band setting up. Music started playing at 7 pm. They sounded great! People were dancing and it was fun watching.
We ordered the Best fried mushrooms I've ever had! Light batter so you can tell it was made fresh and not previously frozen. 5* so you habe to try them. We also ordered the Haystack since it was half off

When we first entered, the hostess stared wordlessly at us as we approached and I had to be the first to speak. I always think that's awkward, but our server, Louis, had enough personality for the both of them. He was extremely engaged and on top of things.
