Don't leave the writing of your will to a general lawyer who only dabbles in this area unless you want your family to deal with documents which are too generic to be of any use. My wife and I recently used Monteforte Law to develop a complete estate plan for the two of us. We had met with two other attorneys previously, but they were only interested in selling us their vanilla plans, which didn’t meet our needs. Mike was the first attorney to actually listen to what my wife and I wanted. Monteforte Law has just completed a full complement of estate documents for me: will, trusts and directives and I could not have been happier with the experience. All the costs were known up front, the work was complete and done in a very reasonable amount of time. Mike was willing to meet however I preferred, either virtual or in his office. I ended up having two in person and two Zoom meetings with Mike. He was thorough and patient with all my questions, and I never felt pressured in any way.
