What do weddings mean to you? Through my years of experience as a San Francisco wedding photographer, I've developed a genuine love and appreciation for these emotional events. To me, weddings are emotionally-charged, symbolic celebrations. They often inspire pure expressions, words and feelings from the couple and their family and friends.

Actually, I'm not an artist. At least I don't really think of myself as one. I do consider myself a craftsman, and photography is my craft. Ever since I picked up my first camera and started playing, I was pretty much hooked. I scoured the internet for instructions, tutorials, concepts, and anything I could sink my teeth into.
I've been building my San Francisco wedding photography business since 2011 and have photographed over 200 weddings. Although, I mostly serve the Bay Area as a San Francisco wedding photographer, I do travel for weddings including destinations like Maui and Brooklyn. It has been my honor and privilege to tell the stories of hundreds of couples.
In addition to just getting some nice portraits for yourselves, engagement sessions are a great way to learn a bit more about how we will work together on the wedding day. While most of the wedding day coverage will be generally hands off and organic, semi-posed portraits will certainly be a part of the experience.
The couples I work with vary greatly in their wedding styles-some are more luxurious, others more modest and intimate. I've photographed in winecountry weddings, city weddings, and backyard weddings. While these weddings were stylistically different, the couples had similar values in what they wanted from a photography standpoint: authentic storytelling captured with sophistication.
Searching for the right wedding photographer can be incredibly daunting so I'm thankful for your time to check out my work! Duy is very professional and has a great relaxed, low-key personality, and he made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the day. Numerous family members and friends have commented on how incredible our photos are, and we can't stop looking at them either!

Not that Duy needs another 5 star review, but when someone plays such a big role on our special day, you can't help it. Even before meeting Duy, the first thing we noticed was the style of photography he provides. He's a killer behind the lens and knows exactly how to capture moments. During the wedding and despite all the rowdiness going on, he was always the kind face snapping thousands of photos, always smiling and accommodating our guests. SERIOUSLY THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE BAY AREA (and possibly the country)! There is no better person to work with for your wedding. Duy is extremely talented, passionate, and purposeful. Duy is so wonderful to work with. My husband and I hired him for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Photos for both were incredible. I was very picky in what I was looking for in a wedding photographer and surprisingly, with tons of 5 stars photographers in the Bay Area, I had trouble finding one that I liked completely...there was just something I didn't like about each of them...either the quality of the photos weren't as crisp/bright as I had hoped, or the subjects of the photos looked unnatural/uncomfortable like they were posed against their will, lol.

He was great to work with - incredibly detail oriented, accommodating to our requests, and he took covid precautions very seriously. When the coronavirus pandemic upended our wedding plans, my partner and I decided to still get married. Since we didn’t take engagement photos, I really wanted to take photos on the day-of our wedding. We were looking for a wedding photographer to shoot our special day in late summer 2020. After selecting an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue, we knew that our number one priority was finding a talented photographer who would be able to capture the beauty of the venue and as well as all of the special moments on our big day. Finding the perfect photographer to capture all of our wedding moments was probably the most important part of wedding planning for us.
