I've taken my car there twice for repairs and both times they delivered promptly. The prices were fair, the staff were friendly and responsible, and there we no further related issues after the services were completed. I've been screwed over many times by mechanics, and I tend to be skeptical anywhere I go. So far this place has delivered quite well and I will continue to keep them as my primary service professionals until proven otherwise.

After speaking with the owner here,I had to clarify my review. The service was of high quality and he made a suggestion as to what may have been the issue. They did advise me to take the vehicle to the dealership to have more test completed, which I did. I would use Boswell service again if needed.

We began experiencing transmission problems and the shop diagnosed the situation quickly. I believe the owner was forthright, which helped us to make a good decision. I contacted Boswell auto shop last Thursday due to my car jerking and my car engine light coming on. I was used to taking my 2016 VW to the dealership but this time around I thought let me try a local auto shop to try and cut the cost but was hesitant. I initially spoke with Tom over the phone who was very pleasant and understanding and set my appt for the following Tuesday. I dropped my car off at their secured location on Monday night which was well lit and had all the necessary documents to complete and drop my key in their overnight box. By far the best experience I have ever had at an auto repair place. The pricing was very fair, and I will definitely only use this facility for future auto maintenance and repair. It’s hard to find an auto repair you can trust. You can trust the owner. I had 2 different vehicles repaired. I was not paid, nor am I related in any way. It’s just refreshing to have great mechanics/auto repair in your area that you can trust! I tried other auto repair places in Waldorf, but they were not honest. Give Boswell a try. You won’t regret it!

I've used Boswell's in the past and I will continue using them in the future. They have fair prices--better than a dealership, and do a great job servicing my truck. I highly recommend them. Boswell's is a much more personalized auto service center than taking your vehicle to a dealership where you feel more like a number than a person.

My wife and I were referred to Boswell's by a neighbor. We have used their services 3 times and each time they were knowledgable, courteous, professional and timely. They never exceeded the estimate and once checked a problem at no charge. As long as we reside in S. Maryland we will take our automotive problems to them. We highly recommend them.

I am so appreciative of the professional, polite manner in which I was treated. I had created a MAJOR problem with my car, trying to fix something myself. There was no condescension expressed, though I REALLY deserved it. I received very clear explanations regarding what had happened and the possible strategies that could be used to resolve the issue. Boswells was prompt, efficient, kind, and informed. I will continue to use Boswells for my automotive needs, simply because I trust them to do what is best for my car.

We began to take our cars to Boswell's in 2019 after our local trusted mechanic retired and the next mechanic we chose was simply too far away. We were in search of a good, trustworthy, reliable mechanic. We live in Prince George's County and were leery of anyone local. We spent hours reading reviews for local mechanics (all seemed to have poor or mediocre reviews). We then expanded our search - southern Maryland and northern Virginia. This was my first time here and was definitely welcomed. I had a tune up done for my 2016 Honda Fit and the work was done very well. The price was great. Took my car to this shop after 2 mechanics told me that my front suspension needed repairs, but after inspected by this shop, all i need was an alignment. These people are great and know their job. I called and received a quote from Mr.Boswel for front rotors and breaks for $299, unlike a nearby auto service who wanted to charge me $589. Their prices are fair and I never felt ripped off or like I was being taken advantaged of as a woman. Once I dropped my car off, it was ready at the specified time. I'm very happy with the service and professionalism of Boswell Auto Service.

First time customer. Was referred to them by another auto shop. Could not be more pleased with the service. Owner was honest, open , and fair. A rarity in the auto repair industry. Honest in saying he could find no real problem that 2 previous shops said would cost nearly 3GS to fix; open in saying they're a little higher priced only because they hire the best most qualified mechanics; fair in that you get exactly what you pay for. HUGE Shout out to Boswell's and Tom Pietropaoli. These guys prove themselves time and time again. From now on, not even buying a vehicle lightbulb elsewhere.
To make a short story long, I had 3 separate small bulbs that needed to be replaced in my truck. (Ya know how they all seem to burn out at the same time after 14 years...) So, I went to Pep Boys, and bought the bulbs. Then, I went over to the service side to get them installed. I mean, I'm just a girl.... . Thought I'd save Jody Lang the anguish, and didn't wanna drive around all day with a brake light and turn signal

Basically, the title & the 5 stars speaks for this entire review, but let me break it down. First of all, the lobby was nice and clean upon my arrival. I get very anxious whenever I have to bring a vehicle in to a mechanic. I try to do basic repairs myself and google instructions. Like everyone else in these economic times, time and money has been very tight with us, so I was very hesitant to bring Old Bessie to the doctor.

Rachel the office manager is very knowledgeable as well and works with you to get the you lowest price that fits into your budget all while providing great auto service.

Unfortunately after management change, atmosphere and customer service has been on the decline. My father and I had been using this shop for years with our trucks and noticed the change immediately in customer service and price. We ended up changing shops shortly thereafter.
It just sucks cause there are some really good guys/gals there working on the equipment.
