Services
Our Curriculum is hands on and thematic based, our classrooms are set up with age appropriate learning centers; this allows children to explore on their own. Typically there is a different theme introduced each week and covers a wide range of topics. Each learning center provides a variety of opportunities for your child to explore and grow.
Here at Yellow Brick Road Preschool we feel it is crucial in the development of a child to be exposed to as many educational, cultural, and recreational experiences as possible. Each month we provide your child with valuable opportunities to help them grow while learning the importance of their role in society.
We are excited about your interest in our enrollment process. To enroll your child at Yellow Brick Road Preschool please come by for a tour of our school. Upon deciding to be part of our YBR family we will provide you with an enrollment packet. The completed documents as well as a copy of your current immunization statement is all we need to get your child started as soon as you are ready.
Our well qualified teachers create a nurturing enviornemt that provides indvidul care. Daily written and verbal communication to parents is critical at it offers you both the knowledge of your infants day as well as provides peace of mind knowing that they are cared for on an individual basis. We work to provide for every stage of your infants development by encouraging language development, social interaction and physical growth.

My son started off in the baby room. As a first time mom I was scared to leave him but they have shown nothing but care, kindness and compassion. My son is now 1 and half and he loves going to school. He waves to Miss Shannon, Miss Amy and all he's teachers and friends. He's always so happy to be there!

During our two years here the turnover rate has been up and down . While very few has left a lasting impression with my child and family and those include Ms. Kim, Ms.Kathy ,Maria, Brooke, and Jamylah. In this last year it's been very uncomfortable bringing my child here and it's the reason we have now relocated to a much better structured and settle environment for my child. I started to notice children cursing upon dropping her off and when it was brought up to the office it was almost like an "oh that's his home environment and it's not much we can do" type of response. Well that doesn't work

We have enrolled our son at YBR for about a year now and we could not be happier in our choice to bring him here. Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable and loves our son. The director Shannon always has her door open and is open to feedback, suggestions and gives us insight into our son on a daily basis. Miss Kim and Miss Kathy are amazing and are always there to greet us and ensure classes are supervised and running smoothly. The teachers in my son's class are amazing, genuinely care about him and are always communicating with us about his days at YBR. We especially love Miss Maria, who has

The daycare is terrible. Do not bring your child here . Staff is so unprofessional and will badger you for as little as $33 . Every morning I went in this young girl who said she was so sick, she was bent over as she was talking to me. She was so annoying. I was trying to drop my baby off and head to work she would ask my for $33 and every afternoon when I picked up my baby I tried to pay the fee no one was available to take my paycheck. This daycare is filled with crying children and no one attending to them .

I'm updating my review to give one star for the owners' commitment to safety. In spite of being promised that a solution for the wide-open door would be in place by summer 2018, the security issue still persists. I am no longer comfortable leaving my daughters at this center and we are moving elsewhere. I could never forgive myself if the unspeakable happened due to the lack of security...

I've been looking for a preschool for my four year old, and stopped in today to check out this school, since the reviews are good and it is close to my house. When I arrived, I immediately noticed that there was no lock on the front door, anyone can just walk in. Went in, no one was up front. There was also no security to keep anyone from getting in any further. I could hear children very nearby, and I could see the door to the twos room right in front of me. We waited about 5 minutes and never saw anyone. We left. I had high hopes and wanted to give this school a try, but it looks like this

The food is worst then jail slop only because the owners use the money for their personal gain also it's not a secure school the front door is open not locked for anyone to walk thru their always out of ratio.... meaning not enough teachers for the school children the air conditioning is horrible it's a two star school the play ground that was just put in was not put in by a licence contractor and if your kid come homes with bruses.....the have no clue how it happen. so for these and other real issues this is not a good school

I have absolutely great things to say about this place. My daughter seemed to have loved all of the time that she spent there and the quality of learning was beyond my expectations. I would love to say that it all stems from the brain that I passed down to her but I wouldn't be telling the full truth. She would sing us songs, tell us about the books that they would read, starting writing me letters soon after she turned four years old (not just writing her name), and was starting to figure out math concepts (mostly addition but did know a little subtraction). I definitely think that Yellow

I had the pleasure of bringing my child into this preschool and meeting the director Shannon. She was professional and gave us the grand tour. Rates were reasonable as I work downtown and its a quick pickup and drop off. My daughter seems to like it and asks when are we going back there each night. Thumbs up!

I went in for a tour as I was looking for a new school for my son. I pulled in and seen the playground from the parking lot, it looked pretty old & not maintained. I brushed it off as I was optimistic in what else they had to offer.
prior to my visit I was told there was some remodeling going on, I walked in and the lobby had different paint swatches on the wall, can't you swatch somewhere besides your front entrance?
Anyways the woman greeted me, and to be completely honest her overall appearance wasn't very impressionable.

This place sucks! They dont turn on the air conditioning at all! The kids are in their diapers or fussy because its so hot in the rooms. Its way to crowded to have like 20 kids in one room especially without the air conditioning on. Im reporting this place because their neglecting all those kids, its 100 degree weather outside and they dont want to turn on the air conditioning? Thats ridiculous
