Ross Hair Salon opened its doors in 1991. It quickly became one of the fastest growing locally owned businesses in the East Side of San Antonio. Eva Saucedo, Salon Owner/Operator, named the salon after her son, Ross. Eva's passion and love for her community drove her desire to build a business that would offer quality beauty care to the neighborhood residents and surrounding areas.

She quickly outgrew her first 2 locations and has since relocated right next door (2114 IH 35 North). Ross Hair Salon has been remodeled and modernized to provide a unique & lively experience. Anjelica is phenomenal. My first time here, we came up with a plan together for what would be best for my hair and I loved it! She’s very personable and remembers you when you come back. Just got done with a color touch-up, a trim, and conditioning treatment. Thank you so much Anjelica!

If you find someone you like get their number because stylist come and go! it’s so hard to keep coming back because when I do my girl is gone. They charge by amount of product and length . Tbh it’s not cheap since they use name brand products. They charge everything. I believe it’s $20-$25 for them to curl or straighten it at the end but they won’t ask you they’ll just do it and throw it in the bill. It’s a nice little salon that has talent inside and cost a pretty penny basically.

Ive been coming in for years but this was the last time. Went in for a cut and they gave me some new girl who made my hair look choppy. New ever again. Best to go to The Color Bar where the first stylist they had opened their own salon.

I came here with my sister because she gets her hair done here and it always looks good. We made two appointments at 11am, one for me and one for her. We came on Sunday and we were the first ones there when they opened. I heard a stylist call my name but she grabbed a girl that came in after me. My sisters stylist called her name and she went back. I questioned the front desk older lady and I asked her why my name was scratched off and she said that it was her mistake. Now, it's 1 hour and 20 mins passed my appointment time and I have not been seen. I will not come back. The receptionist should

I went in today for a trim. I have curly Afro textured hair. I end up liking how she trimmed it so much that I went a ahead and got her to straighten it. It looks AMAZING and feels silky and straight. The prices were great and it's definitely worth it. Great service and even better Work!!!!!

I have always been told to avoid the stylists that have bad hair themselves and what did I do? I went straight to the one with unkept hair. I ended up with choppy uneven hair. I am still mad one month later.

This small business is absolutely great! I've gone a couple times. The 1st Time I saw Steph she was amazing, & sweet (everyone is anyway) the 2nd time I went to Julian!! He did my 1st dye and he reassured me it was going to look great! He gave me his opinion and did an amazing job on my hair I was sooo impressed w the end result! Ohh &he had a great taste in music! I will continue to be a client at Ross!
