My friend and I just left her appointment. She was scheduled with Edwin. Edwin himself was great! Amazing cut, offered a complementary drink immediately, answered questions and was friendly. She enjoyed the cut and we would have rated the experience ***** however, the lady at the front with the short black hair was terribly rude both on the phone and in person. She rolled her eyes, talked sarcastically and was just over all unpleasant. Hopefully the next visit will be void of her sour presence.

Both my husband and I get our hair done by Chris Orr here. We love Chris so much that, even though we moved to Austin almost 11 years ago, we still drive to SA once a month to get our hair done. I'm always getting compliments on my haircut. I have fine, droopy, mousy brown hair, so I have Chris cut and color it, and it looks fabulous! Wouldn't go anywhere else, or to anyone else. The colorists here are great, too. I feel like my hair is in very good hands!

I've been going to see Edwin for color and cut since 2007. I would never go anywhere else in San Antonio - Edwin definitely reigns supreme and his busy appointment schedule reflects that. I am always so pleased with how my cut and color come out and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone. Not only is he a great hairstylist, he is a great person and very easy to converse with. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review about him, but I was so taken aback by one of the reviews that I read that I had to interject.

Had my hair done 6 times at this salon. Don't ask why I kept going back, but I know it takes time to understand what a client wants. I asked Edwin for "lowlights." He foiled my hair, full head. At the end, he did not check his work. When I complained that I did not see any lowlights, he said he did. Then when I asked for a fix up, he asked for pictures. When I sent the pictures he believed I was asking for "exactly" what was in the picture and said he could not do it. The sample was just that, a sample of hair color and width of lowlight color. I moved to San Antonio 2 years ago and looked around for a good hair place close to where I was living (Alamo Heights). One day I stopped by Trevi and the receptionist was so sweet and nice and she was able to get me an appointment fairly quick (it was right in the middle of the Holidays). That's how I met Chris, ever since he has done a great job with my hair. I have never been happier with a hair stylist, I have wavy hair and it is not easy to deal with. I somehow missed my appointment at my regular salon and was desperate to get my hair done. After all, you could see about one inch of my roots and it had been ten weeks since my last hair appointment.
