Dr. Jessica Ruiz, owner of Weslaco Animal Clinic was born in Austin, Tx and grew up in a small town about 15 - 18 miles southeast of Austin called Lytton Springs.

Another great visit to Dr.Jessica. Zoey was very happy with her visit to get her health checkup. Everything was smooth and efficent under covid19 protocols.
As always everyone was friendly and polite. Cost is reasonable and treatment and handling of our sweet Zoey was gentle and caring. Thank you Dr.Jessica, Rey and staff.

This clinic had very rude customer service. I understand you need to call before hand but no one was answering so I went to the door to ask or see what I needed to do. A lady came saying I needed to call and shut the door in my face. I asked to speak to a manager and he was just as rude saying they “have” to shut the door as quickly as possible because people force their way in when that wasn’t the case for me. He was no help and yelling over me when I was calmly trying to speak to him. It was an emergency for my dog so it was upsetting at how they weren’t understanding when it’s my first

Brought my German Shepard in for skin allergies that he's had off and on for the last 3 years. After a week of antibiotics and 2 types of shampoo he's clearing up and looking much better. Other vets have ways prescribed a steroid for him. Thank you staff for all you have done for my Miles. We greatly appreciate it. Most definitely recommend

I take my dogs here and they never seem scared or anything once the vet takes them to get their shots, i feel like the prices for shots are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I don't really like the way they are doing things now with covid just because you have to keep calling the number and it's usually busy, they do take a while to get to you and they don't do appointments so that's annoying, everytime I go I'm lucky if it takes an hour but my dogs need the shots so it needs to be done. Other than that's it's an ok place.
