You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.

My dog came in extremely lethargic and they were able to see him as a walk in basically and tell me what my angel needed. I was able to take him to the pet hospital in McAllen based on the recommendations of the vet to start his blood transfusions.
At Border Animal Hospital, we truly believe that regular examinations are vital to your pet's overall health. It allows our veterinarians to evaluate your pet's overall well-being, while learning more about you and your pet(s). With routine examinations, our veterinarians will thoroughly examine your pets.
Pet boarding services are available to all of our clients. To maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff, all pets that visit Pet Resort at Border Animal Hospital must have proof of current health screening and vaccinations. Did someone say playtime? Our day care services are hard to beat.
We love when our clients refer a new visitor to our animal hospital. Border Animal Hospital is now offering a referral program for you and your friends and family. When you refer, the new client's first exam will be completely free. Please make sure that the person you referred tells us your name, and we will thank you with a Border Animal Hospital credit of $20 added to your account to be used towards your future visit.

Border Animal Hospital has treated my dogs for almost a year. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and care about my pets! It’s an extremely clean facility as well. Thankfully they also offer emergency office hours on the weekend. Definitely check them out!

I really enjoy Border animal Hospital, their grooming services is amazing All the staff make you feel welcomed and comfortable. If you do take your dog for grooming services I recommend that you ask for Terry she’s an wonderful human being. she’s so good with my Dash I could not have asked for a better person Who is so genuine to my fur baby she loves him as If it were her own. 🙌🏼 🙌🏼
