Samuel Cole Salon opened in 1997 and is named for our two boys, Sam and Cole. They were only toddlers when we first opened and are now handsome young men. Our salon is the culmination of our 30+ years of combined experience in this exciting industry. We possess an unyielding passion and love for the craft of hair design.
Education is the cornerstone of all aspects of our salon and extends beyond hair design. Each stylist is extensively trained in the art of "pampering". Every appointment is dedicated to and focused around pleasing you. Our design team is friendly, positive and happy to be at your service. At Samuel Cole Salon we provide courteous and professional attention to each and every client.
Our stylists specialize in working with you to solve your hair's challenges and make the most of its natural tendencies. They will tailor a design with you to address any issues and create a signature look that suits you. Creative collaboration is the key-between you, your stylist and our entire team.

Clean, efficient, professional. I love my stylist, Chelsea. She takes the time to make sure you are happy w/ your haircut. Front desk staff are great too. Salon is kept very clean and is very welcoming. They offer beverages. Shelves of products are arranged tastefully.

I used the incredibly talented ladies of Samuel Cole Salon for my wedding hair and makeup and can’t say enough about them! Heather S. was recommended by my mom, and she listened to what I wanted. I'm trying to grow my hair out, but my hair is also very thin and fine. I wish I could write a review everytime I came here. Front desk girls are always on point, so sweet to talk to! I’ve been seeing Heather S. for my hair for quite a while and she is AMAZING! She always asks what you want to accomplish, and is very honest about the health of your hair. My hair got very damaged moving away from Raleigh and other hair dressers being extremely dishonest about my hair and what we should really do. Always had good results coming here and if there's anything I haven't been thrilled about - they are very courteous about fixing it. I have medium length, medium brown, curly hair and I get fine highlights here. They do a really good job of placement and cool color that I wanted. I've been with 3 different stylists. Denise most recently did a really great job. She's really easy going and great at listening. My hair is exactly as I wanted it. It's nice coming here because they bring you a beer and also offer some hand treatment service - I always forget to ask about

I have been coming to Libby for about 3 years now. She is fantastic and always remembers things we talk about. I put my trust in her every time I walk through the door and always leave feeling amazing. She listens to what you want and has great suggestions. She is also always down to teach me something new it I ask. Complimentary beverages are always availabke at the front desk which is nice. I Iove coming here.

She not only does an amazing job but she writes down for you what products she used, and she goes step by step with you how to style your hair. It's been a few years since I've been to SC, not for any dissatisfaction, purely circumstantial (I moved). I needed a cut right away and they were able to fit me in so I decided to make the drive.
They paired me with a new (to me) stylist, Averyanna. Very professional and personable, but what impressed me most is that she listened. Going to a new stylist can be scary especially when you want a look for a particular occasion, which I did (job interview).

The receptionist there was rude & snobby. I only bought a bumble & bumble hair mask because it was a Hair emergency. I didn't want to drive to Sephora & deal w/parking. Keep in mind I was getting my nails done next door. Anyways, she rolled her eyes at me.

I would give this salon zero stars if I could. I started with a consultation with Denise. While I was explaining the situation with my hair, I could tell that she wasn't really listening. I am telling her that I am trying to grow out the 'hack job' on the back of my hair out (after 7 weeks since the previous haircut) while she is talking Jennifer Lawrence's hair. I don't think so!

I have been to see Morgan three times now and I love her. I came in with a head full of hair issues ... I had gotten a bad cut and needed help knowing what to do. She was great.
One of the things I most like about her is her honesty. On my first visit she said, "Okay, you are probably not going to love this cut because it's going to take a little while for this [right] side to grow back out." But, she also wanted to give me a cut that was going to work during the growing-out phase. She has done a great job.

I called today to get a revision on a cut/trim previously done there that I wasn't totally thrilled with, and I must say, the response I got was the reason they have the reputation they do as a premiere salon in Raleigh.
Even though my original stylist wasn't available this afternoon, they were so accommodating and got me in immediately. They were so friendly and awesome in making sure my hair was exactly what I wanted.

My husband and I just relocated here from Dallas, TX. I was looking for a new stylist, and quite nervous about starting over with someone new (us Texas girls love our hair). Thankfully, I found not only this salon, but Carolyn. She is one of their Senior Stylists, and absolutely AMAZING. Their salon is on trend, has great products and services, and is fabulous. Would recommend them to anyone!
