I had no name or any idea what I really needed. We had a couple conversations and Rick and Devin created Primitive Grind's entire identity and website in a matter of a couple weeks. Rick worked on several projects for us over the past few years. Most notably, he created the program and all materials for the USGA's 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, hosted at The Golf Club of Tennessee.
Rick not only has a great eye for design, he also accommodated our timeline as things changed. I'm Rick Stufflebean and I've spent 30+ years producing work for real clients through all levels of corporate and ad agency creative roles. I'm most comfortable working in small groups, face to face, which became email to email, and now is frequently message to message now-a-days. I a graphic designer and wedding photographer that provides clients real world experience through a casual and relaxed approach to accomplishing your project's goals.
I've designed so many different business related things that we usually can't remember them until someone asks. The benefit is that over the years I've kept all that knowledge wedged inside my brain. Having done it before simply cuts down on time when I need to do it again. Which saves time, and quite frankly saves you money.
There, we said it, and that's been our feeling for a while. The world is still in love with social media sites and we "get it", but there's glaring flaws to relying solely on social media for your business. The biggest problem in our opinion is that you cannot directly control the users experience and perception of you, what they see, how they see it, and even "if" they see it at all amidst the clutter of their social media stream.
I shoot all wedding photography in a journalistic documentary style with as little posing and interruptions as possible. Which means you be you and enjoy your day while I capture all the special moments. Rick Stufflebean is a wonderful photographer and the way he captures moments is impeccable! It was a very relaxed ceremony and I asked Rick to just capture moments throughout the day. he did EXACTLY that!

Rick and Devin photographed my wedding and they are AMAZING. They took the time to understand what we were looking for and we barely even noticed they were there throughout the entire day. They were personable and professional. I could have not asked for a better experience. The pictures they took were exactly what we were looking for and I absolutely love them.
