I am Emily Foster, owner of Emily Foster Photography. I started the business in 2012 after receiving many requests for sessions with family and friends. I have never considered myself a photographer-just a person with a passion for capturing those amazing moments that you want to hang onto for years to come.
After having my twin girls in 2010 and taking as many pictures possible (as any new mom would) I realized how much I adored little wrinkled fingers, chubby little legs, and gummy smiles and being able to capture the love and adoration between a father and his daughters. This love transformed in to hobby which I delved deeper and deeper into.

Services
The basic session includes up to 1 hour of shooting with 1-2 wardrobe changes and up to 1 location change. These can occur at a site of your choosing in the Nashville, Smyrna, and Murfreesboro area. Travel fees apply outside of those locations. You will receive a disc of your edited photos and full print rights.
The newborn session will last between 2-3 hours. I recommend doing this session as soon after birth as possible to ensure that they are nice and sleepy (cute and pose-able). We will make the space nice and warm to make sure your baby is as comfortable as possible. Please remember to bring what you need to keep your baby's belly nice and full as well as any favorite blankets or props.
The boudoir session is a fun, sexy, tasteful way for women of all shapes, sizes, and ages to celebrate their beauty. This session will last up to 2 hours at one location. You can wear as many (or as few outfits) as you desire! Together we will discuss the parts of your body that you love and come up with photos that make you feel sexy.

Emily was amazing. She was so well prepared. She had tons of ideas for poses, great props and even more patience. I could tell that she loves taking pictures and she loves kids.
My daughter was just a couple weeks old when we did the photo shoot. I went in with the expectation of getting some ok pictures, due to her age. But Emily, in no time, had the greatest images of her ever. The pictures were so good that I regretted not having known her when my little boy was young. I had taken him to an Olan Mills Studio for pictures- but his are not even half as cute as the pictures Emily took, and trust

Emily was an amazing photographer! I would definitely use her again and would recommend her! She took beautiful engagement photos of my fiance and I and got them back in a very reasonable time! She really thinks out of the box when it comes to poses, backgrounds, colors, lens, and general creativity. My fiance and I were extremely comfortable with her and the pictures were so candid and natural. None of the poses seemed forced or set up! If you are looking for a creative and professional photographer, Emily would be the one for you.

Emily is amazing!!! We had the best time having her take our pictures. My husband and I both commented on how laid back the session was and how easily it flowed. We didn't feel pressured or rushed. In fact, most of the time, we didn't even notice that she was snapping pictures. The result was some amazingly beautiful family portraits and darling pictures of our 3 year old daughter that we will treasure for a lifetime. We had sneak peaks the same day- so great! Emily's professionalism and creativity exceed what I have seen from other professional photographers. I can't wait until our next shoot
