I was in an accident in March 2021 that totaled my car when the other driver ran a red light. They made dealing with all the aftermath so much easier and I was able to focus on recovering. A car wreck can be traumatic enough without injuries and insurance companies adding to the situation. Unless you're an expert in the field don't try to navigate it alone and don't answer any questions. It's wrong to assume your own insurance company will be on your side.
