Professional dental cleanings are an important part of your routine dental check-ups. Stinauer Family Dentistry recommends a cleaning and an exam every 6 months. It is our goal to make these appointments as comfortable as possible while catering to the specific needs of each patient. Digital x-rays provide the most detailed images of your teeth allowing for the best diagnostic capability for the dentist.
Dr. Jesse Stinauer is a licensed general dentist providing a wide range of dental services for his patients of all ages and needs. He obtained his dental degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He grew up in Havana, Illinois and completed his undergraduate studies at Monmouth College where he majored in Biology.
Do not hesitate to call us at any time to help assist preparing you for your first appointment! There are countless options for toothbrushes and toothpastes on the market. The most important factor when selecting a toothbrush is choosing one with soft bristles. Stiff bristles can wear away enamel and cause gum recession.

This was my first visit and I am overly impressed with the service. I was welcomed and treated within 15 minutes and back on my way. Dr. John was extremely knowledgeable, confident and was able to resolve a problem that I had from a filling done by another dentist. - I am definitely going to be a new faithful customer.

Best dentist ive been too. Dr John was awesome and the staff was really curtious about everything. Had 4 teeth extracted on 11/11/19 and am in no pain the following day. Thank you guys so much!!!! Most wont pull teeth if someone is taking blood thinners unless its an oral surgeon and that costs a ton of money. Stinauer was great about it.

This is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. All the staff I’ve encountered is so friendly! Every other dentist I’ve had either shamed me for the way my teeth looked, or were too rough and didn’t numb me enough to the point I was terrified to go back. So in turn my teeth got worse. My mom goes here and told me how great John is so I decided to give into my fear and go. I can tell you it’s the best decision I’ve made! I’ve gotten at least half of my teeth taken care of in the past few months. He’s gentle, the numbing process doesn’t hurt, makes you feel comfortable and

Dr. John and his staff are amazing. I had previously had bad experiences with dental care and was very apprehensive to see a dentist. However I was very pleased with the outstanding care I received which eased my fears. I have had a few procedures with no pain at all. Dr. John and his staff are amazing to work with they are warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. I have since brought my toddler in for checkups, cleanings, etc and they were absolutely amazing with him! I highly recommend Stinauer Family Dentistry.
