Dr. Romay graduated from Pontifical Mother and Child in Dominican Republic in 1993 with a D.D.S. and in 1995 earned a D.M. D. degree from Boston University ( Goldman School of Dentistry ). In the past, he has donated his time and experience at Lindsey Hopkins providing dental care to the needy. He has also lectured at local schools and community school meetings to educate in maintaining oral health.
After fleeing from my native country where I was a Dentist, I moved to the United States earning my Registered Hygienist degree. It is of great importance to me to inform our patients the importance of Oral Hygiene. On my spare time I enjoy spending it with my husband & son as well as traveling. Originally from Cuba where I was a Dentist and later moved to the USA where I became a Registered Hygienist.
Richard Romay has the staff of Design a Smile has been meeting the needs of their clients for several years. Went to the office and I was fascinated with the new look how beautiful it came out and the staff is very friendly and attentive they bring you in on time they do not make you wait long and Dr Barrera is a sweetheart still need to meet Dr Romay I have heard a lot of good things about him from his staff and patients in the office thumbs up

The staff was phenomenal. I have never visited a dentist office whose head dentist and staff are all as kind and supportive as those who helped me today. The office itself is clean, organized, aesthetically pleasing, and decorated beautifully for the season. I absolutely adore this office. Dr. Martha Barrera made my front teeth crowns amazingly ... people always ask me about my beautiful teeth and for sure my confidence is back.

The care I’ve received at this practice is superior to any that I have visited in Kendall. With just my first visit, I was positive that this office would be my primary office for dental care. I have always been terrified of the dentist but upon walking into this office, the receptionist was eager to welcome me, they confirmed all my information in a timely manner and i was brought inside within minutes. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greated with a warm welcomed. Very little wait time and a very pleasant service. As soon as I met Dr. Romay in the examination room , I felt in total confidence as he walk me through my treatment. He was very detailed on my procedure and asnwered all my questions and the same goes for their hygienist. She was very detailed and patient during my visit. Outstanding staff, very friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to my next appointment.

If you are in need of a fantastic dentist your search is over, Dr. Romay is the one! The office is kept nice and clean, his staff is amazing. I love the appointment reminders via text. Dr. Romay is definitely one of the best in the business, very knowledgeable and pays close attention to detail. My husband and I couldn't be happier with his team.
