Power Protection Engineering offers everything from Fault and Coordination Studies, to Arc Flash Analysis and Written Electrical Safety Programs, ensuring that your facility leads the way for safety and reliability. Arc Flash Analysis is used to calculate the energy released in the event of an accidental contact between conductors.
The OSHA General Duty Clause states that the employer is responsible for ensuring that the workplace is free from "recognizable hazards." Electric Shock and Arc Flash are two of the most recognized forms of electrical hazards in the workplace, and according to the National Safety Council an electrical hazard in the workplace claims the life of a worker almost every day.
