I'm sure we've all the seen that cute little town or small city in movies that your like, this place is so cute. Well, you have it here in Los Olivos. If you know you know. Hidden in the wine country just a little over half an hour from Santa Barbara. This picturesque twin is a gem. It's not big but does pack a mega punch in charm. Quaint cute lodging and plenty of tasting rooms one after the other. The whole town is only a few block radius and surrounded by beautiful charming ranch style homes as well as amazing rolling hills in the area.

Your also not far from the main road where

This is such a great place to spend a weekend. I've been coming here for about 20 years. It has really blow up with wine tasting rooms. I believe there's 30+- at this point. The best part, no need to travel from vineyard to vineyard, though most vineyards have beautiful outdoor space.

In addition, there's no need to spend alot of dollars on a wine country hotel with Solvang just 10 minutes away! Of course, there are more winery's and tasting rooms in Solvang as well.

I was surprised to find that the "census-designated area" of Los Olivos in the Santa Ynez Valley doesn't have its own Yelp listing yet. Dating from 1887, this charming town keeps reinventing itself. I first visited in the 80's, when the claim to fame was the number of art galleries in the small hamlet.

Bolstered by several good restaurants and lodging options, it was a peaceful getaway destination. Fast forward to the new millennium, and the downtown core's expansion now focuses on wine tasting and wine country cuisine, while still embracing art in many forms. Figueroa
