The HydroGrid System by design, is the complete true subsurface system. The HydroGrid technology has forever eliminated the need for inefficient and antiquated watering systems. No ancillary or back-up watering systems are required. Since the first HydroGrid was first installed in 1991, nearly 2,000 HydroGrid tennis courts exist around the World.
These types of courts are commonly found at public parks, schools, apartments, and private residences. They are most commonly referred to as a nearly maintenance free court! Hard courts, unlike clay (Har-Tru) courts, can be customized to the customer preferred color(s) and speed. Additional games can be lined on the court surface, such as volleyball, basketball, quickstart, etc.
DecoTurf cushioned tennis court surfaces are regularly chosen for use at the World's most prestigious events. DecoTurf tennis surfaces have been selected for the two most recent Olympic Games, the US Open since 1978, the Emirates Airline US Open Series, the NCAA Championships and countless other notable venues around the world.
Welch Tennis Courts, Inc. is not only known for being the World's Largest Builder of clay (Har-Tru) tennis courts, but also builds other sport style courts, including basketball courts. A typical full size (diagram) regulation basketball court measures 104' long by 60' wide (this includes a minimum five foot over run area on all sides of the court).
