Took my puppy here to because she was sick, all I wanted was to get an IV and some liquids in her because she would not eat or drink. They refused to give her liquids until they wanted to run $500+ in tests. Do not take your puppy here if you love them. I had to go to Loma Linda, no hassle, and she's getting the attention and care she needs right now.

We found our little Christmas at YAPs and couldn't be happier! Everyone was amazing and super patient when we had to bring Christmas back to fix her stitches the next day.

The facility is so cool! We can't wait to adopt another friend from YAPs.

I’ve been coming here for years with all my pets and would recommend them to anyone. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. It’s very clean with lots of places to sit. They can get you an appointment in a timely manner. I met a new vet today and she was wonderful. I was really happy with the visit today. 2020 was a really tough year on everyone but they’ve made it through and are doing a great job. Don’t hesitate to come here, it’s a great animal hospital that cares about you and your pets.

I have never had a bad experience at YAH. They have treated many of my babies from birth to death over the past 20+ years. They always listen and try to understand my position and work with me when I need special care.

I don't know what's going on with the people at Yucaipa animal hospital I've been going there for over 15 years and they've always been very pleasant personable But now they seem to be cold and Short, It's bad enough that you're stressed out about your pet it doesn't help when people cold to you. I appreciate that They do not up sell you and they are honest and the doctor truly cares about your pet however I'm hoping that the people who run the front smile once in a while it really does help.

I have not had a good experience here, but it took a really bad one to say I was t coming back. The staff is not friendly, and one in particular is very rude. Every time I've been, it takes a long time, and nobody seems happy. The last time I went I waited for an hour for them to take my dog back. We took our dog to get staples put in for a wound, and they told us to come back in 7 days. I had an appointment, and I thought I might have wrote it down wrong when the automated text came through to come in at 8:15. I arrived on time, but they were upset that I was too early because the tech wouldn

If I could give Y.A.H. 10 stars I would.
My baby was diagnosed with Pyometra at Arlington Animal Hospital in Riverside, they charged me $700+ to do blood work & x-rays alone then diagnosed her and still wanted $4,000 to do surgery.
I couldn't afford it. I took my baby home and tirelessly tried to find a place that would take her in & do surgery for less. Feeling devastated knowing time was ticking for her since Pyometra is deadly, my sister found this place. By the grace of God the good Doctor here agreed to take her in and see her. I am forever Thankful. She was able to get her

If zero was an option, would've scored that. Operated on my daughter's dog to remove a fatty mass. Let him lay for hours losing blood essentially dying. When we picked him up, they were going to let us take him home. He couldn't walk or lift his head. By the time we rushed him to Colton ER, he was already in crisis. Despite their attempts to transfuse blood, he died. If YAH would have properly monitored and let us transport him to a legitimate ER sooner, he may have had a chance. Then they had the nerve to send flowers.

First time there, new to the area. Brought my puppy for vaccination, nail trimming and ear cleaning. Was told upon check-in that I have to make a separate appointment for ear cleaning and that this is a vaccination appointment. This should be explained at the time the appointment is made as I have never experienced this before. At my old vet, they would tend to all of my concerns while there and not ask me to come back for separate concerns.

In addition, they should also disclose upfront that you will not be allowed to go back with your animal. This is another practice that I am not used to and

All they care about is your money. They'll treat you like you're stupid even though you've been using this facility for over a decade and try to convince you of constant policy changes, charge you $500 and send your baby home worse than they were before you brought them in. All I needed was a foxtail removed and now I am worried my dog is going to die. Absolute scumbags and if you care about you and yours I'd advise not going here.

Do not ever go to this office if you value any level of customer service. It's sad, because I really liked Dr. Beckman, and I thought she gave good care to my four dogs. But the inability to ever talk to a person on the phone has meant that my senior lab has been without his arthritis medicine for three weeks which I can't get from another vet without labs and an exam that I already paid for at Yucaipa animal hospital. If you call, they want to put you on hold and my husband and I have spent time on hold (ranging from 15-60 minutes) almost every day in the last three weeks. I have explained

This place has changed and not for the better! Receptionist are Very rude and incompetent! I was told to come and pick up a health certificate that it was ready but when I arrived I waited for 2+ hours in the lobby waiting for them to finalize the certificate. When I was asked to review the certificate the city was spelled incorrectly, once that was fixed I finally thought I was ready to go and upon looking at it the name had was spelled incorrectly on two different spots. When I pointed it out to the receptionist to fix she acted like I was bothering her and proceeded to call her manager Heather

Yucaipa Animal hospital was able to get my puppers in last minute when my usual vet couldn't see me for two weeks. Receptionist was courteous and friendly, staff that assisted me at my appointment throughly explained all procedures prior to completing them. I'm thankful for them and so is my dog.

*UPDATE*
(see 1 star review for back story)

My boyfriend got a call from the manager. She was extremely sympathetic to my boyfriends loss, and completely understood our feelings towards that receptionist as she too was irate with her and let us know "she will be heavily reprimanded." She not only refunded him for the money to put down baya, but also sent him the ashes (that he couldn't afford) for free Even though this didn't fix him not being able to say goodbye to his pup of thirteen years.. it really softened his heartache. Thank you so much for trying to make this right

I have been taking my Lab to this vet for the past twelve years. My lab has been having problems for the last six months and is on daily pain medicine from this vet. Over the weekend the dog has not ate or drank and was throwing up not holding down any water or food. Her time had come and I knew she had to be put to sleep. I called the vet and said they could put her down for 3 days as they were busy. Are you kidding me this dog is in distress and needed to be put to sleep. They have NO compassion for the animals and if you want to look at it as a business deal, not a good way to take care

Brought my frenchton here for a ear hematoma they explained she would need immediate surgery that day costing 1400, they then said my next option is opening and draining the hematoma w/antibiotics for 450, I agreed to drain the hematoma, it was back the next day, took my dog to dr butchko for a second opinion they explained it's not painful to the animal or emergent and will likely scar regardless of what is done. Wasted my money her and time, plus was terrified I was putting my dog through pain. They took her back did not let me see anything that was done to her, but the doc came to the

Been going to this vet for year, and service has never been superb, but its been adequate. I kept coming because I believe in keeping it local.

Welp, no more!!

I Called on a Saturday October 2nd to request a prescription for my dogs allergies, women tells me it will be ready in a few days. I got busy realized a week later (Monday Oct. 5th) I never heard back from them, so I call back. Woman tells we, "we've been busy", it can be ready by 4 today. 40+ minutes later I get a phone call saying prescription wasn't filled, because the doctor needs to exam my dog. Frustrated,

My dog died 3 hours after the hospital visit

My Shitzhu was having difficulty breathing two days ago. I brought her into this hospital yesterday. I was the last patient out of the hospital at 6 PM. My dog started throwing up blood out of his nose and mouth and died around 9 PM.

They charged me $500 for exams, tests and sold me medication that my dog didn't even get to take. I called today to tell them about my dog's death. They offered to cremate my dog. Thanks, animal hospital for offering to burn my dead dog for me. Since I was upset, the receptionist told me that her manager advised
