Alapalm Animal Hospital has the distinction of being one of the oldest contiuously operating animal hospitals in San Bernardino County. Originally established and operated for many years by Dr. Hardt. Upon retirement, the hospital was sold to Dr. Dennis Wilds, and now continues the legacy with Dr. Mike Girgis.
Dr. Girgis has practiced as a veterinarian for many years and is intent on re-establishing the high standard of veterinary medical care and client communication that make Alapalm a valued resource for our community of 'pet parents'. Dr. Girgis is here 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday) to offer services by appointment.

Your pet needs routine dental care just as much as you do. Routine dental care can prevent cavities, gum disease, and extractions. After your pet has had their dental it is recommended to brush their teeth at least once a day in order to maintain oral health. From routine spays and neuters to laceration repairs, our Doctors ensure that your pet is in safe hands.

Entire staff is so nice. Brought in our girl, Boots, bcz she's not feeling well.
Another animal clinic didn't have their doctor in their office for the day, and they couldn't even answer their phone bcz they were having a busy vaccination day.
Boots will be here for a couple of days to heal and I feel good about the support she'll receive here.
Small office but big hearts round this place.
Thank you for taking us in right away.

4 years ago my bulldog died in the hands of the vet. He was given penicillin when all he went for in was a a little dried nose. Over the hour he had an allergic reaction to the medication and died there. I never felt so angry. I sat in the parking lot and I sobbed and sobbed. Not sure if that same vet dr is there but please be aware if you have a certain breed that needs special care. To this day I wish I could get my baby boy back. Every time I drive by their vet it makes me so angry and I just weep.
