Kiku Sushi

For my local sushi spot, they have good sushi. Not always the most friendly but they do deliver fast and pricing is ok. I order frequently and they are accurate.

Best California rolls and pork gyoza for a quick afternoon snack. Our latest is salmon sushi rolls. The salmon portions are always big and super fresh- love it! Kiku is a regular pick up/delivery for us- a hidden gem. They are the nicest people too. We’ve been going since my daughter was little! Everything is always fresh and delicious!

I'm not sure what I expected from gas station sushi. But it certainly wasn't 98% rice wrapped up in seaweed paper. I ordered four different rolls from this place. Every single one of them was rice. There was no fish to be found in any of them. That's probably why they're excluding people from entering the facility. Cuz they don't want you to see that they're not putting anything in the rolls but rice

For a local spot I love the sushi 🍣 tuna striped bass and salmon are the types of raw fish I prefer. I noticed people calling it salty and can’t help but wonder if maybe they put a gallon of soy sauce in it? Lol sushi and sashimi you only dip the end in soy sauce that’s it! Also another one who said “fish is sour must be old” okay so #1 bad fish isn’t sour it is smelly stinky and wouldn’t be edible and #2 sushi rice has vinegar in it. That’s the sour taste it’s part of the experience 🙄
Kitchen items: the pineapple fried rice (with chicken or shrimp both are good) is to die

I was never a Sushi lover until now, I drove by and decided to try it out lol oh! Man! Let's just say it was quite an experience lol but I love this place the very professional fast clean food is delicious the portion size are good and I haven't had everything on their menu but who needs too when its delicious 😋 . Definitely give them a try I promise you you will not be disappointed

The sushi is here is ok but the service is pretty bad. I ordered over $80 with of food and the lady did not want to give me a tiny cup of spicy mayo. She said I had to pay for it and refused to give me any. They are very stingy. I used to come here often but that was the last time I step foot here.

Fresh sushi! Love the family platter - really delicious - have only ever done takeout here. Before covid19 we did takeout from here at least once a week. It's next to a gas station so not really my cup of tea for a sit down meal. Looking forward to their reopening for some more delicious meals at home.

Really good sushi don't let the gas station foul you this sushi is no frills good priced well made sushi and the place is clean

Stop by and get a bang for your buck and stop going to those bougie high priced places if you're looking for a simple good sushi lunch

Ordered a platter for takeout and have to say it was good overall. Not bad for a place next to a gas station. Seating inside is limited, so think I'll just stick with takeout.

Food is usually great until I ordered something that did not smell or taste right. When I called the to tell them,the your girl that answers the phone was so nasty and rude!!!! Bad for their business!

Hidden gem in a gas station. Don't fall on this place. Vegetarian roll/sushi options are a plus! Staff is very polite. Pricing is right. I only order at the place and takeout, so I have no review for delivery or phone orders. Been very happy to still be able to enjoy sushi.

I have been going here for a few years. I usually take out. Today I sat in there to eat. I am always welcomed by the owner. She knows me, when I call!
Food is always fresh! It's a family owned business.
At one point they had a young girl and there, she was very abrupt, and always seemed like I was bothering her. She was just rude! She's gone, I mostly deal with the owner who is very friendly.

UPDATE: They have a new employee who takes orders over the phone. I think they finally realized that customer service is important. Especially in a sushi restaurant because your spending more money than usual! The new employee is very fluent in english (sounds like a young man born in the U.s.). He his very professional and nice over the phone. He doesn't rush you and tells you the total everytime with ease as a restaurant should.

I wish New Rochelle had inspectors, (undercover), or make unscheduled visits on some of these restaurants. Again, no gloves; only the men handling the shusi had on gloves.

Very nice Bento Box lunches. Very tasty, great portions and are for around $10 including tax!

Food quality was real good . The ratio of contents to rice was what stood out for me. Way better than most places where it just taste like a rice ball ... Also the staff was very friendly . Will definitely be going back .

This place isn't very good. It's below average. They are not friendly at all and a little rude. The sushi is sub par and not the freshest. I got sushi there for my wife's b day lunch because of the reviews. Bad idea

So I know what you're thinking sushi from a gas station ??? 🤢🤢🤢 but in this case looks can be deceiving . After walking in & looking around I decided to order myself some sushi & I'm glad I did . So I ordered a shrimp & avocado roll / spicy salmon & a spicy tuna roll . I can't say it was all 10's all around, but it was definitely tasty and fresh. Add to that a friendly staff & you have a winner

I loved this place. I came after going to an interview in the area. I had looked into cheap and delicious eats online and this place popped up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The woman who took my order got the impression that I didn't eat raw fish since I kept asking her which rolls were cooked. Not once did she get rude. She was an absolute sweetheart. She also let me know what was what on my plate as well as this cute little teapot that held my soysauce in. On customer service alone, this place is worth it.

On to my actual rolls....I always go with the California Roll because

If the girl in the front wasn't so rude and nasty I would give this place 4 stars.
Sushi is pretty good. Try the vegetable tempura roll!

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Got food poisoning RIGHT after eating it. NOT meant to be a sit down place, works better as takeout. Food made me vomit 4times. Waitstaff is rude. Do NOT come here, Call here, or eat there.
