We use the RIE approach by Magda Gerber in our Infant/Toddler program. Infant and toddler activities include many sensory experiences. We work with infant and toddlers on language acquisition & self-help skills, along with fine and gross motor skills. There is a huge focus on cognitive & physical development of young children, especially since they are closely related.
We believe the best learning takes place in a collaborative and interactive environment. Teachers work to help children develop their conceptual knowledge, which contributes to the development of social and physical skills. Each day's curriculum is designed to expand the child's mental, physical, and emotional growth.
The project-based approach is a renowned educational approach based on children's learning through play, art, music, technology, parent participation and modern-day documentation and research. It is through play that young children construct their early knowledge and develop the critical thinking skills that enable them to become independent, socially responsible and intellectually competent individuals.
They can be completed on your computer using Adobe Reader 9.0 or later, which is a free download from Adobe.com. For infants/toddlers under 24 months only, or older children with special needs: Needs & Services Plan (PDF). We also request that you bring a copy of their current IFSP, IEP, 504 Plan, assessments, or other relevant documents so we can collaborate with you to best meet their needs.
Our emergent curriculum and project-based program blends traditional and non-traditional ways of learning. Creative Minds combines the emergent curriculum and creative approaches of Reggio Emilia schools of Italy with a strong educational component. Every child is naturally creative, curious, and loves to learn.

Creative Minds has been a glorious environment in which my daughter has flourished in so many dimensions - and it's all happened in a way that respects and celebrates the brilliance of childhood with an emergent curriculum that still will cover her pre-k needs. The room has a sense of calm, even if there is an overlay of joyful kiddie noise. My daughter asks every morning if it's her school day and has never ever NOT wanted to go. What also works is that Creative Minds and the staff works to hold the wellness of an entire family in their minds. They are marvelously accommodating with adding days

This daycare is run by unprofessional owner, who does not know the basics of daycare. She does not want to take efforts to train new kids for potty training and increase the fees for unknown reasons. They are not reliable either, one day I left my kid in the morning and came back and saw other kids were hitting her and no one was watching or paying attention.
Please avoid this daycare for any cost. You can find more professional and people friendly daycares in the same area. This business should be reported for neglecting kids.

My daughter has been at Creative Minds Preschool in the Blue Room for over a year now and we could not be happier to have found such a professionally run school with caring teachers who are very educated in their field and the Reggio philosophy.
When you walk into the classroom, you are always greeted with a smile and the teachers are very engaged and in tune with the kids and their specific needs. They also have an open ear for any information I want to share in regards to my daughter, weather at drop off in the morning or at pick up time.
The parents are welcome to stay and observe, participate
