While having the ability to refill an ink cartridge and enjoy almost-free prints, it's frustrating when your refill isn't working correctly. If a printer is printing, but the output is blank or has poor image quality, it is often due to clogging. Not all bad prints are caused by clogging. An aging printhead may cause the problem as well in severe cases you may need to change the printhead.
You should refill your edible ink cartridges with the same edible ink which was filled in your original cartridges. For this, you can contact your supplier to check if their refill bottles have the same edible ink that is used in their pre-filled cartridges. I contacted this company right after I received my printer to let them know the black ink was not printing correctly. I have been using edible printers for over 10 years now so these are not new to me. The contact person that got back to asked to photos, which I provided. The only explanation they can give me is that I have to have my printer hooked up to my computer in order for it to print correctly? Makes no sense. I have used several printers where I just scan in the picture like a photo copier and print. Never had a problem until I got this printer. And it's only the black. I have to
