Here is where you would expect to find superlatives from a company about how they sell and produce the highest quality product available at the lowest prices possible. That is not our style. Craftsmanship, getting your job right, and getting it to you on time should happen automatically. And when it doesn't, you need a company that stands behind their work and puts a satisfied customer as their primary goal.
Screen printing uses inks to imprint a design onto a shirt, sweatshirt, apron, or fabric item. The basic process involves squeezing inks through one or more sheer fabric screens onto the garment. The number of screens needed for a design depends on the number of colors in the design.
Our computerized automatic presses apply each layer of ink precisely every time, using the correct pressure for the design, ink type and texture of the garment being printed onto.Each color layer corresponds to a screen that we use to print. The pink layer that you see in the middle is what's called an "underbase", which will be printed very first as white to help the other colors stand out on darker colored garments.

Embroidery uses threads to create a rich, textured design on a garment. The image or drawing is sewn directly onto the shirt, jacket, cap, sweatshirt, or fabric item. An embroidered design can include lettering, logos, and even complex artwork. Our designers translate the artwork into a sequence of stitches - thousands of them.
Our direct to garment printer is basically a giant desktop inkjet printer that prints on garments, using transparent inks. The garments are then heat cured (they go through our belt drier) and the ink is permanent at that point. The print makes for a soft hand, which is different than our regular screen printing using plastisol.
Most items on our website are produced on-demand. Once an order is placed, we will usually complete the product in 4-8 business days. In certain cases, we will have a high volume of orders, or a special-order garment, and will need more time. If your order is part of a pre-order, it will be produced usually 7-10 days after the store closes, and distributed soon after.

We recently used J. Carroll Screen printing to design and produce a special run of t-shirts to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of our company and we were very pleased with the final result. We have used many different t-shirt vendors over the years, but none were as good as J.Carroll. They are definitely at the top of the screen printing pyramid in my opinion. Highly recommended!

My mother went in to order some customs t-shirts for a special occasion. She brought a sample of what J.Carrol made for us approximately 4 years ago as we wanted something very similar. She was helped by Michelle who was rude and seemed to be bothered that she had to help someone. Michelle didn't ask any questions about colors or sizes and when my mom asked Michelle about it she just got defensive. My mom called the next day to cancel the order and tried to explain to Michelle that she was canceling because she didn't appreciate being treated poorly. Michelle wasn't apologetic and

A difficult company to work with! Spoke to heather and Scott and they were so rude! My daughters school was placing school wear with this company I placed an order for a Medium and got a Small. They won't allow me to get the correct size, or even return the item. Scott stated that I was being un reasonable for wanting to exchange a sweater that does not fit.

Hands down, the best customer service and product out there. Our daughter transferred schools and needed a specific jacket to meet her school's uniform policy. In order to get the jacket to her in time for her first day of school, Dylan (a J Carroll staff member) personally delivered the jacket to our house after business hours. I was floored. Not many people would take the time out of their personal schedules to do that. To top it off, the quality of their products are top-notch. J Carroll has my business from now on.

Rawley and the rest of the J Carroll team did a fantastic job for the apparel for my daughter's school volleyball teams on a very tight deadline. They recommended some great options to choose from and were very fast in getting samples for us to look at. Their designer is very talented and was extremely responsive in tweaking our design for the shirts and sweatshirts we chose. We even put them into more of a time crunch with deciding on final designs, and adding to the order at the last moment... and they still met a tough timeline. Really wanted to like this place as its a local business and came highly recommended. Quality of the work was fine but customer service is poorly lacking. I went in on two occasions and both times girls behind counter acted like they couldn't be bothered. For instance, how about "Hi? Can I help you? Thank you" pretty common sayings when you are in customer service. Nope, didn't get any of this. Even sent my husband in on 3rd visit because I couldn't take the blatant rudeness. I went here to have a robe embroidered and I was greeted by Chelsea. She was amazing! She helped me pick out font, size, color and went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with my order. She emailed me the following day with a mock up of what the robe would look like completed and guaranteed that my order would be done on time. I would most certainly recommend J. I have used JCarroll many times and always meant to leave a review, so here it is. I have to say that they have the best customer service around! They go out of their way to meet deadlines, be dependable and provide high quality products!
The screen printing was perfect on my last order as well as previous ones! Embroidery on my hats was awesome! I got custom places embroidered and even on the mesh of trucker hats!
Price is always fair and comparable to others that I have gotten estimates from. But one thing that stands out is that they have a very fast turn around and plenty of professional

I LOVE having J Carroll in our own backyard. Terrific customer service, amazing prices and a great selection. The new digital printer allows them to print just one t-shirt (better and cheaper than Zazzle or Cafe Press) or one hundred t-shirts or hats.
