Krav Maga is an Israeli system of self-defense and tactics. It is not a sport and gears its students to face situations with multiple, armed attackers. We build on basic skill sets and train under "controlled stress" environments to simulate real life situations. Krav Maga was developed for special forces, but is the best self-defense system for civilians, women, and children.

It originated from a system that managed to protect and defend against modern day situations, and is now commonly taught to military forces as the best form of unarmed combat. I took their free beginners class to see what Krav Maga is all about. It was AMAZING. The instructor knows her stuff and does a great job at orchestrating training and giving us a great workout at the same time.
The class is a more intimate size, allowing the instructor to help out everyone on a one by one basis. In my first class, I learned how to groin kick properly, how to protect against knife attacks, and how to get the upper hand when pushed against a wall with a knife to my neck.
Bottom line- I came looking for practical self defense training to save my life if I needed it, And I found

I was looking to find something that was outside my comfort zone, get a good workout, learn real life practical skills, and get out of the house and meet people. I am happy to say I've accomplished all these goals and Krav Maga 101 has exceeded my expectations.
I don't have any prior martial arts experience so this was a completely new experience for me. Paula made me feel comfortable immediately. The others in the class are friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
The instructors are fantastic. They aren't afraid to correct poor form but are friendly while doing so and explaining the "why." At times

Fell in love after the first class! Never have I felt more empowered. As a woman I was worry I was entering the "Fight Club" scene. Boy, was I wrong! The beginners class are for everyone men, women, and even children. The instructors are amazing. Paula is an inspiration to all! The lessons are taught step-by-step and are easy to learn. I left feeling unstoppable. Now, I've been training for over a year with no intention to ever stopping.

I was looking for practical self-defense, or similar type, classes for myself and my children. I found Krav Maga by accident when some recommended videos came up on YouTube, and boy I'm glad I did! It looked like the perfect fit. I found Paula's studio that trained both adults and kids, and they even had classes for both at the same time (a real time saver). The skills taught were real-life stuff and easy to learn. The instructors were very helpful, respectful, and always happy to answer questions. My kids and I each left our classes feeling more empowered, stronger, and more confident and we keep

I found Krav Maga at Fight or Flight Academy through friends. I had been looking for a while for a place that teaches self-defense that I can actually use in my every day life. I tried their free beginner's class and I knew Krav Maga was exactly what I had been looking for! I was so nervous to come at first and thought I would be very intimidated, but I was immediately put at ease. The instructors, especially Paula, really know their stuff and are excellent (and patient!) at passing that knowledge on to others.
They also allow kids aged 5 and up on Wednesdays and Saturdays, so I bring my 7 year
