I had them do my taxes this year for the first time. When they finished, the amount I owed the IRS was a lot and it was very upsetting as I am on a fixed income.
I decided to run all my tax information through Turbo Tax just to see if it would come up with a different amount. Mine came up with over $1,000 less that I owed the IRS for my federal taxes. I called them to discuss this and they admitted their error but gave the excuse that the tax laws changed after they did my return.
So i ended up paying them $200 to prepare my taxes that were incorrect and they refused to give me a refund.
