Seattle Integrated Martial Arts
Seattle Integrated Martial Arts is a multi-disciplined, private mixed martial arts school specializing in small group classes and one-on-one training. Through our association with Guro Dan Inosanto, our roots are in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do training and philosophy. We believe that cross training the various martial arts we teach opens the student's mind and nurtures an adaptable martial artist.

Different training methods enhance different physical and mental attributes. For example, the double stick work from Kali (Filipino Martial Arts) enhances perceptual speed and coordination, the pad work from Muay Thai Kickboxing gives us a powerful striking base while providing an amazing cardio workout, the study of Jiu-jitsu teaches intricate problem solving while dealing with real pressure and full body engagement.
Services
Our INTEGRATED MARTIAL ARTS (IMA) curriculum embodies the school training philosophy; to mix the arts and training methods to make one complete system. IMA training consists of weaponry, empty hand, self-defense, and kickboxing from Inosanto/Locaste Kali, Jun Fan Gung Fu, CSW, Silat, Thaiboxing, and Jiu-jitsu.
Keep in mind we are still operating a limited capacity so allow for a few days to hear back from us. Thank you for your patience. 1 To start classes as a trial student, please fill out the information below. If SIMA seems like a good fit, then we can enroll you as a Trial Student. The Trial cost is $189 which includes unlimited classes as well as necessary equipment (sticks, gloves, and school shirt).
Seattle Integrated Martial Arts involves both an internal school ranking system as well as an affiliate ranking system. We currently rank students in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kali (Filipino martial arts)/JKD. Students must first pass what is called the Entry Level Test to begin the ranking process.
Confirm that you are on the tuition plan needed to test at your next rank level and the minimum class hours before registering to test! Our Entry Level Test is scheduled throughout the year. Sign up here to schedule your Entry Level Test with Guro Bob or on the clipboard across from the front desk.

Great place to train! Decent sized gym with good equipment. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, core group of students in each discipline with a fair bit of crossover.
Not an aggro school so look elsewhere if looming for that.

I’ve trained Inosanto lineage Kali/JKD at another great gym, spent time in some of the best MMA and boxing gyms in Seattle so I’ve got a significant point of reference. Just started here and I can already tell you this is one of the best martial art gyms in Seattle! Very practical, fun and realistic in all ranges of combat. Do yourself a favor and check Guro Bob out if you want to learn the real deal in a comfortable environment.

I originally enrolled at Seattle Integrated Martial Arts because I was having problems at home and I needed a way to let out stress and get in better shape. What I found here was so much more. Originally I was shy and intimidated training with these guys who could completely crush me if they wanted, but one of the philosophies at SIMA is that anyone should feel comfortable training with anyone else. Over the past 3 years SIMA has become an important part of my life with many of my training partners becoming very close friends. I'm more confident now and in better shape than I have been in in the

I'm fairly new to SIMA and I've found the environment fantastic. The instructors are all patient, very prepared for every class, thorough and welcoming. My classmates have all been great to work with. Being very new I have felt like everyone wants to support each other and will help to make sure you get it right every time. I feel very safe here and always look forward to the next class.
