Only an answing machine when you call and they do not return phone calls for 3 days when trying to book an appointment! Even asked for the owner Kim to call me back and still no reply. Had to go down to the Salon to talk to anyone and Do Not book with Cameron she will cancel on you last minute if she has something else to do!!

I went here March 10th, 2021. I was highly dissatisfied with the final service of my hair style done by Cameron Blake. I initially went for full highlights on my hair and just a hair blowout. My highlights were extremely white, I asked for blonde highlights and even sent her a picture. I asked her before she began doing my hair does she know how to work with myself type of hair(thick, black hair) her reply was yes, had I known she didn’t I wouldn’t have wasted my time. I went In today my first appointment was with Jackie for Derma planing and waxing. Jackie is phenomenal, she is so knowledgeable with skin and flare up and her product she makes for personalized clients is amazing. Love her. Highly recommended! Aqua, who takes care of my naturally curly hair knows how to cut, color and beautify my look! ABSOLUTLEY love her!

Emily is not only one of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure of working with she is also my new hair artist! Amazing colorist, fabulous hair trim. Overall a truly great experience! I knew almost immediately after going to Emily as my stylist in this salon that I'd be back again and again. She's a colorist guru and my hair was cut to perfection. Being new to the Tucson area, I was quite anxious after having been a client of the same hair guy back east for the last 25 yrs. This salon came highly recommended & it was the luck of the draw I was scheduled with Emily! She's personable, kind, an overall lovely person & has an intellect about her profession that many young stylists do not. I highly recommend her!

Saw a groupon for balayage with Della at abstrax, tried to reach her to make an appointment. Left several messages with person taking calls at business to have her call me to schedule appointment after three attempts to reach her and calling her personal cell phone I gave up. I will never try to contact again. As far as I am concerned very unprofessional and not worth the time wasted to attempt to get an appointment again. Hair salons are a dime a dozen and I would not go here! If I could five 0 stars I would!

I had a 'hair emergency' that had me calling with a last minute request. Aiden at the front desk was extremely helpful and SO sympathetic to my situation, and Kim is THE BEST when it comes to anything I have EVER asked her to do. She is SO knowledgeable and just has really good instincts about what will or wont work. Everytime I make a suggestion she has done exactly what I asked, then I walk out going, 'I should have stuck with what she said'. If you go here, you will never want to go anywhere else!!!!

It's always hard to try a new salon; you never know what you're gonna get! I decided to try Abstrax for a badly needed haircut. I got an appointment the same day with Pat. When I arrived (about 5 minutes early), the salon receptionist notified Pat I was there. Pat came around the corner, looked at me and shook her head and said "I don't know her". The receptionist told her I'm new, then Pat told me it would be a little while since I'm early. No problem.

The complex Abstracts is in has recently been purchased and is getting a face lift. They also have a farmers market going on outside the shop on the weekend. However of the 6 or so times I've been i've not been seen on time. There is a person at the desk, but I don't think it's a paid receptionist; usually they are just answering phones and collect payments. They don't greet customers promptly when entering in (at least not consistently). I'm guessing if you are headed to the shop it's through word of mouth on a stylist because I have no idea how a walk in new

Well.. it is of no surprise that there aren't any reviews up about this salon. No one of any sense would ever go here. I had a cut with DEIDRE. I just want to make sure everyone knows her name. She JACKED UP my hair. I wish I could show photo's of how bad it was. My dog could have done a better job. There is no way this girl should be able to cut hair. She said she gave me a cut fur curly hair. Even a cut for curly hair should be uniform, even on both sides and have the option of being blown out straight and look good. This cut was how a barbie doll looks when their 6 year old gives it
