Services
I am originally from a small city in central NY. I grew up with great parents and two awesome brothers. I received my B.S. degree in Psychology. After college, I escaped the cold NY winters and moved to sunny south Florida. While in Florida, I taught first grade for four years. Two years in a Title I school and two years in an IB school.
Butler is located at 17 E. Pearson Street in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast, bordered by Streeterville and River North. Nestled between Loyola's Business and Law Schools, the historic building we call "home" is situated just steps away from Chicago's Magnificent Mile, the Red Line stop at Chicago Ave.
We invite you and your family to begin the admissions process at Butler by scheduling a tour. Individual family tours allow us to give you focused time and attention and for you to see first hand, our program in action. Tours are scheduled Monday-Friday, typically in the morning, and last approximately 30 minutes.

My son has been at Butler this year and has shown so much growth. He is excited to go to school everyday. The teachers are so welcoming. There is always something new going on and I love that I get updates on my phone with pictures and get to see what they have done during the day. Butler is clean and colorful. A great place for kids to learn.

Butler Prep has been an amazing experience for our three year old daughter! The teachers have pushed her to an ability level well beyond what we imagined! She is already learning sight words and writing! The children are always excited to be at school and the modern classrooom setting makes a great use of its space. Highly recommend!

The teachers and owners are commited to providing a safe, friendly, fun, enriching, and stimulating teaching environment for your little ones. You will not find a better preschool. We had Jake Hanifin, the co-founder and director, for my 3 daughters and highly recommend him as a positive influence on your child. He is always prepared and very knowledgable and passionate about early education. Most importantly, he surrounds himself with like minded people. You can trust them 100% to provide quality care.

What a great pre-k school for our neighborhood!! I have been on the tour and met the people that are part of this wonderful addition to our area! I could not have been more impressed!
Not only is it a perfect location for parents in the Gold Coast and nearby areas, but more importantly, the teachers there are all highly seasoned professionals that were part of the pre-k program at Ogden International!
Just doesn't get better than that!

Wonderful preschool! This adorable, brand new rebuild, just opened in the Goldcoast area. My daughter had been on another school's waitlist for over 6 months. When Butler opened I went by and had a tour. Gorgeous building, and more importantly a sweet and loving staff. My daughter loves it. She is learning so much. They have the best ideas and creative lessons... highly recommend. They are also doing a summer camp!!
