LEEP Forward, Inc. is located at a 7,200 square feet facility in the West Loop. Our space is complete with a large sensory gym, smaller individual treatment rooms, private consultation rooms, large therapeutic social group spaces, and an outdoor playlot.
Services
Lorell Marin founded LEEP Forward in 2001 out of her desire to create innovative and inclusive learning environments for all children. She expanded this vision in 2018 to include a school focusing on Diverse Learners. Lorell holds a Masters in both Social Work, Teaching, specializing in Special Education and a host of other credentials that may just complete the alphabet!
Occupational Therapy (OT) at LEEP Forward, Inc. stresses the importance of play as a child's main occupation. Our therapists are trained in creating activities that are crucial to childhood as a foundation for success and independence in play, socialization, learning, visual motor tasks, fine motor skills, & daily living skills.
LEEP Forward, Inc. is an In-Network provider with BlueCross BlueShield PPO and BlueCross BlueShield Blue Choice only. LEEP Forward will submit claims directly for families who have a Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. For those with other insurance carriers, we will create invoices for families to send in.

LEEP Forward Therapeutic group programs are a set of comprehensive therapeutic services created to support children with social communication, sensory and emotional regulation challenges. We rely on efficacy-based practices to provide a uniquely individualized learning and therapeutic program within a small group of peers.

My son's progress through LEEP Forward is ASTONISHING!! I keep telling the same story about how my son wasn't speaking! I didn't know what to do. LEEP not only teaches children on the autisim spectrum but it also teaches parents and families how to cope and guide them to a different way of learning through these unique individuals eyes! It's fills me with joy to hear my son speak now and he has a HUGE PERSONALITY!! Thank you LEEP!! YOU ARE MORE THAN A SCHOOL NOW!! YOU'RE FAMILY!!

Our son was diagnosed with SPD (sensory processing disorder). I had known something was off. He seemed lost in preschool, was really aggressive at the playground, and wasn't talking at all. I was referred to Leep Forward after the diagnosis and what a difference! My son is more engaged, has positive peer interaction, and is talking a mile a minute. His favorite game is pointing out letters and sounding them out and making words. Lorell and the staff really helped me to understand my son's condition, referred me to an Occupational and Speech Therapist, and host monthly seminars

So grateful for the staff at LEEP Forward. My son, being diagnosed with autism, is so engaged and happy here. It's as if they found the missing light from my son's eyes, and turned on the switch. He has always been an amazing child but I am so excited and overjoyed by how he has progressed in these past 4 months. Cannot see what the next few months has in store for us.
