Our lead receptionist, Briana Lewis, has always felt a deep connection with animals. She entered veterinary medicine in 2007 to continue to develop this connection. I have always had a passion for helping animals and bringing comfort to their owners. For many people, pets are family members. I love being able to comfort during difficult times and also building relationships during the good times.
Briana spends her time outside of the clinic enjoying nature with her 3-year-old son, Bryce and their English Cocker Spaniel, Livi and a sweet cat, Luna. They love to hike and do as many water activities as possible. Briana loves traveling to new cities and hopes to one day take Bryce to as many new places as possible.

I paid $138 for a full medical check up for my Yorkie. Never got any report of any test. When I called 2 days later in morning no one called us back till 4 pm after promising someone would. My dog has not eaten and has been vomiting. The staff and reception is rude. They are just ready to shut you down. Their HEALTH CHECK up is a SCAM they do not do anything.

Vet agreed to see 3 2mo old rescued kittens we found on the road in front of our house. No mom in sight and we cared for them on the front porch for days hoping she might return. We originally were going to foster them, but my daughters fell in love. Yep, we're foster failures. Lol. We're keeping all 3. The staff at Hemlock have been amazing making sure the kittens are healthy and keeping us on track for all vaccines, deworming and any illness. I appreciate that they take the time to listen to and answer our many questions. One of the best vets around!

I love Hemlock. They are very friendly and go through every detail of what might be happening with your pet. The only thing I wish they'd changed is being closed on Wednesdays. I've had situations where I need to take my pup to the vet and either was not able or had to go to another vet because they were closed.

Fantastic visit! We were recommended to them from North east Georgia humane society. Dr. Wallins was great and Gabby was amazing! They took great care of our sweet baby Sky and were great about giving us options that we could afford. Will definitely be making this our hospital for Sky! Thank you all again

I was looking for a new vet closer to me because my previous vet was near my job at the time & 45 min away. I have a 12+ yr old large breed dog and with everything going on I didn't realize he was almost 2 yrs behind on his yearly! The staff was great! Friendly, professional, understanding... before going I felt so bad for letting my dog get behind but they were so kind & understanding about it! Dr.Rodriguez was amazing! Love, love, love this place! Both veterinarians are amazing, as well as the staff! They are caring, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. After I had my dog spayed, she had a complication from surgery RIGHT at closing time. The veterinarian and staff stayed late to help my Claire puppy and got her all fixed up. They spent time explaining aftercare and answered all our questions, even though they were technically closed. I am forever grateful to Hemlock Animal Hospital! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
