I was recommended to Trans Shop by another local service shop whose expertise is not in transmissions. The recommendation was fully accurate and appreciated. Trans Shop looked into my Check Engine light issue, took the time to research, consulted with me, and gave me an honest answer and recommendation. They didn't complete the work, but assisted me in making a correct decision. Customer service and honesty is at the forefront of the business. Can't thank them enough.

I've never had a reason to write a review for auto repair shop - admittedly I know just enough to know I know nothing about cars. This takes the typical mechanic, oh I don't know, say 30 seconds to realize before I suddenly have an exorbitant bill forming in their minds. After moving back to doylestown, I came across Trans Shop and found the reviews convincing. I called and made a quick appointment for an inspection and oil change. They had availability within two days. I dropped my car off at 8AM and it was complete by 10AM. The reviews about this shop are true - the woman at the front

If there is one word that is essential to finding a good repair shop, it is TRUST. I have been going to this facility for more than 10 years and they always do good quality work. I started with them because my daughter was having a problem with her transmission. They called me later that day and said it was just a loose hose and there was no charge. All I can say is wow! Here was an opportunity for them to be dishonest and this is how they treated me in my first experience! Wow. Excellent shop. They did a fantastic job on my clutch, which was not an easy job. The staff and owners are car folks, and really know their stuff. I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Easily one of the best places to go and have very fair prices. They communicate and are readily available with your questions.

What a pleasure dealing with an honest repair shop. Purchased my Honda from a local dealership have been very unhappy with their repair department, brake and rotor problems could never get it right Was recommended by a neighbor they realized the caliper was not lubricated and misaligned fixed it in one day!

Prior to taking my car to Trans Shop, I had taken it to a dealership and another garage (both long standing in the community). Both advised me that I needed different work that added up to about $2,000 (rear brakes & rotors, cv boot, air bag censor, amongst the most expensive repairs). The trans shop diagnosed my car and advised that I had life left in my brakes & rotors and the cv boot (could wait until my inspection) and cleared the "dummy" lights in my dash which could clear the issue.
