In their due diligence to keep all vehicles on the highway safely for drivers and the environment alike, Pennsylvania state requires annual inspections and emissions test. Working with the Environmental Protection Agency, Pennsylvania is doing its part to keep the air quality healthy and roadways safe.
Almost Home Dog Rescue is a local organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to saving homeless dogs from kill shelters. Their goal is to foster animals at risk and pair them with their ideal families. Smith's Auto and Truck Service Center was able to donate to this organization as part of our giving back program in 2017.
The folks at Smiths are the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I have known. They tell you what is needed, along with explaining, which is great for me as a female and not always understanding why I need to get something done. Total incompetence is the best description for my experience here. 2 years ago I brought my 2010 GMC Acadia in with the check engine codes 420 and 430 (2 of the 3 catalytic converters on the vehicle). This is already suspicious that 2 would fail at the same time, they are supposed to last a lifetime, and they were just replaced new the year before. I asked them to do a full diagnosis before replacing both cats (check O2 sensors, fuel system, intake etc, its a closed system) t...

Used to use them all the time (then got a new car). My daughter was moving out of state. Had them do a look over before she went. Glad I did. Were more than fair eg even though the computer said it was time for an alignment they said we didn’t need it yet. Very professional, did a great job and local! I would have no hesitation in recommending them
