A practice designed to get results rapidly, Pittsburgh Chiropractic & Massage Therapy Center works effectively to resolve what hurts or limits your ability to perform. Whether it's your knee, back or shoulder, we have a solution to your condition. At a time when healthcare costs are mostly paid for by patients our treatments also come at an extremely cost-effective rate compared to our peers and traditional medical treatment.
This has been documented by UPMC Health Plan, United Healthcare and Optum Health. These are not small differences. The average low back pain patient spends over 50% less on treatment from the start to resolution of symptoms in our office vs. your PCP or physical therapy office. No matter how chronic or acute your condition, by incorporating chiropractic, manual therapy and rehabilitation to address the issue most everyone see's immediate results.

I have been a chiropractic patient since I was 3 years old. My younger sister was undergoing chiropractic treatment for an issue my parents did not want to treat medically when the chiropractor pointed out something abnormal about the way I walked. I continued to be adjusted throughout my childhood, although it was not until I began dealing with a sport-related shoulder injury that I understood how important chiropractic actually was to me.
Following graduation from The University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's Degree in science, I went on to attend Western States Chiropractic College in Portland OR for my doctorate in 2002. This education gave me a very strong foundation in the principles of chiropractic as well as conventional medicine as it is practiced today.
I'm Michael, I'm a Pittsburgh native. I graduated from Pittsburgh Central Catholic HS and attended Slippery Rock University where I received my BS in management. After 8 years in the sporting goods business, I chose a much more hands-on career path you could say, in massage therapy. I attended Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and received my certification of massage in 1997.
You know that your body is controlled by your brain, but the spinal cord and vast network of nerves that carry its messages are just as important. When this system is not functioning at its peak, your body's overall performance suffers. In the chiropractic world, we don't use drugs to treat our patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Jones at Pittsburgh Chiropractic. I've been going to Dr. Jones for several years for a variety of issues. Not only was he able to deal with my immediate concerns but also helped to find longer-term solutions/remedies to ensure that the problem did not re-occur. Dr. Jones is highly skilled, insightful, and truly concerned about his patients' long-term health and well-being.

Pittsburgh Chiropractic was a lifesaver! Born with a slight curvature, I have had back trouble my entire life. Patrick Jones is perhaps the best chiropractor I have ever had. He treats the musculoskeletal system as a whole, unlike many other chiropractors. He helped me to avoid surgery for a pinched disk and I am forever grateful.
Also, as someone who is very active with a physically demanding job, I often have muscles that are sore and very tight. I am so lucky that I was referred to Michael! He is an intuitive massage therapist with a
confident touch. He immediately seems to sense the source

I was first recommended to Dr. Jones through a co-worker and have been seeing him on and off for about 10yrs for both neck/shoulder/hip pain related to work (i.e. sitting/sedentary) and sports injuries. He is thorough in his approach, honest about what he believes treatment can do, very effective, and educates the patient on how to avoid re-injury as well as maintaining the gains made in this unique manual therapy treatment (it's not 'back cracking'). I cannot recommend him enough. If you decide to become a patient, you'll then understand why there is a community/network of downtown people who
