Solano Auto is lead by an honest, friendly and knowledgeable man by the name of Ken Jr. I needed help with my car to pass smog. My cars sunroof leaks so with the current severe weather in mind, Ken Jr. was careful to keep my car under cover. Ken was able to diagnose and repair my car in one day! I passed smog and am awaiting my tags now. I will definitely continue to be a Solano Auto customer. My sincere thanks to Ken Jr. and his crew for the awesome service!

I starting goning here for years when the Dad managed. I was happy until over this past year there was one problem after another with the service. My Uncle, Cousin and myself were over charged for the work that continued to have problems. They are not a quality shop and overpriced for EVERYTHING. If you use this shop make sure you check EVERYTHING.

Excellent small town style shop where they go out of their way to say hello as you walk up. Last time I was there I had forgotten to make the right appointment and Ken was still able to make it work for me. Always able to accommodate my night before drop offs. They use the shop software that sends you text updates so you know when your car is actually ready for pick up and give a courtesy call.

I've used different mechanics for various issues but so glad to have finally found one I can rely on and return to. My roommate had some work done here and recommended them. Given that they're right off my exit, I had been meaning to give them a try. I had some long overdue maintenance items to take care of like changing tires and I was dreading some kind of leak but was very thankful for Ken Jr.'s patience and thorough explanation of what I'd compare to learning another language. We replaced the driving belt, the thermostat thing

After an initial recharge of my A/C system, the air started to blow less and less cold after a few weeks, so I brought it back. Luckily, they used freon with dye so the leak could be traced to a faulty condenser. They replaced the part and recharged the system at a fair and reasonable price. Very happy with the service and overall results, and very happy that I didn't destroy my expensive A/C with one of those store-bought A/C recharge bottles with stop-leak! I had called in the morning and asked if I can drop my car off for a brake inspection because my brakes were making noise. They took my car that morning and told me that there was $95 inspection fee. He called me a few hours later and told me that my brakes were fine. I went to get my car and I went to pay and he said "no charge" :) These are great they don't nickel and dime you and are honest. Great customer service and whenever I need my car repaired I'm going to these guys every time.

Had a new battery and my car would stop running randomly Took it to someone else and they told me I would need a new part and possibly more ranging from $310-1k! I have a 2008 GMC Yyukon with a 145,000 miles. Instead of going to the dealer I decided to support my local business and it was the best decision I could have made. I brought in my truck because it kept making a weird "get off an old mattress spring" noise from the rear. From the get go, Ken Jr was very courteous and advised me they would check out the issue and perform a full vehicle inspection as well. Not only did he call me to provide an update on my tuck, he sent me texts with a link to a website that showed what they did along with pictures of the issues they found. My truck

These guys are great, they did a brake diagnostic for me and knew exactly what I needed in a very short time.
With in just a couple of hours my car was ready to go!
I recommend these guys, they even offered to give me a ride home when I dropped my car off. But I had made pick up plans already.

We loved to quick and honest service we recieved from Ken Jr. and crew. If only EVERY business was as dedicated, courteous, and knowledgeable the way Solano Way Auto is. They assisted us when our leaseplan failed. Also gotta love that excellent customet service. These guys are super honest and super friendly. I have taken in my car to get my oil changed twice. The most recent time, they noted that the front strut was leaking and then went out of their way to contact the Toyota dealership to check if my car was under warranty. It was... so they gave the closest dealership my information.
They're a pleasure to deal with and very upbeat. Also they cleaned the exterior of my car for free after doing the oil change.
