Elite Fire Taekwondo
Elite Fire Taekwondo is a family owned Martial Arts Club in Raleigh, North Carolina that started in 2014 with the idea of helping families spend quality time together and to teach character education to students. Master Houman and Mrs. Neshat started their passion for teaching, competing and living a healthy lifestyle in Raleigh, NC with a small number of students and grew to a very successful Taekwondo club offering a variety of programs.

We are a family that trains together, learns together, works together, has fun together and succeeds together. Our teaching style comes from many years of high quality training and a lifetime of studying Martial Arts. EFT is committed to teaching the most up-to-date Taekwondo techniques while working on building strong individuals who will use their skills throughout their lives mentally, physically and spiritually.
Services
This class is for kids ages 3 to 5 years old. We have a specific curriculum designed just for this age group. First, we do a trial lesson with them to see if they can listen and follow instructions. Once they are in the program, they will learn some basic Martial Arts movements along with certain patterns for strength, balance, control and flexibility.
Our beginner would start with a white belt regardless of age. All Taekwondo participants start as a white belt and gradually move up. We have a specific curriculum for each belt and it has been designed based on the requirements by the World Taekwondo Federation and Kukkiwon. Special steps have been put into place to make the learning more comfortable and safe.
Taekwondo is a weaponless self-defense Martial Arts. We use our arms and legs for movements and our brain for thinking. This art of defending our body against attack is what we teach in this specific class. Forms, also known as Poomsae in Korean, are self-defense techniques choreographed together. We teach these in Forms classes, but in this class we remove the choreography and explain each movement and its defense applications.
The Junior Leadership Team is specifically designed for those students who are young yet eager to lead, work with even younger students, and assist in Elite Embers classes. Once these students reach higher ranks and age, they will move up to our Leadership Team listed below. This group is very special because they motivate the younger students to be leaders as well and set higher goals for them.
Demonstration Team is not only a very exciting and fun team to be on but students learn so many unique skills. Performing in front of people, having and showing a lot of self-confidence, working with a big group, learning difficult board breaking and doing Forms to music! Many students love being part of the Demo Team, but they must participate in the tryouts and pass to join the team.

Master Houman and Neshat are great! They have been so great about adapting to the COVID world in which we live these days. Kids and adults can train in the same class and all get a great workout.

My boys have been training at Elite Fire Taekwondo for a month, and I am proud to be the first to review this excellent school.
I'm a "Taekwondo Mom". Both of my boys started Taekwondo training at the age of 6 and it's been 7 years since we started. They achieved a lot, and used to take great pride in what they were doing. However recently they've become less and less enthusiastic about their training, complaining that it was not exciting anymore as they didn't feel like they are making any progress. I had to agree: their training started to resemble general fitness
