Services
Timsons, Ltd. was formed in 1896 by Mr. Arthur Richardson Timson, who initially repaired shoe machinery in the cellar of his parents' house in Kettering, England. After repairing shoe machinery, Arthur Timson started to manufacture to his own designs. He also began to sell, repair and produce bicycles - which had become very popular in the 1890s.
Timsons Book Presses are simply the best and most efficient way to print short and medium length book runs. With industry leading folding technology & the latest in electronic controls all still supported and upgradable by Amerikal Products Corp. Timsons first press designed specifically for high volume book and bible production.
This 48 or 64 page workhorse features speedy 3 minute semi-automatic make-readies and ZMR upgradeability making it the perfect starter press. The Timson T-48A book press is the successor to our very successful T32 line of book presses.
While keeping the labor saving ergonomic design of the T32 the T48 goes much further providing tool-less semiautomatic plate loading, without the need to cut the web making for very efficient production of single color books.
