Tucker Taekwondo Center offers a wide variety of classes, from beginning to advanced level. The student body has an eclectic mix of 100 students from more than 15 countries. Classes are divided by a combination of age and belt level. Children may start training as part of the Little Phoenix program between 4 and 6 years of age.
Our Little Phoenix classes are designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of the young martial artist. This program is designed to introduce the student to the principles and skills necessary to be successful in the New Beginners class. This class is open to students from 4 to 6 years old.
The Phoenix Beginners training utilizes a series of exercises created with the intent of strengthening and stretching the body's core. The training mobilizes the spine and serves to improve overall flexibility. Our classes are designed to provide beginning youth with personal attention and assistance.
Tucker Taekwondo Center's Advanced Program focuses on increasing muscle tone, muscular endurance and perfection of technique and forms. This level extends on the strong base established in Phoenix Intermediate program. More advanced kicking, striking, and self-defense moves are incorporated.

World Taekwondo Federation competition forms and strategic combat techniques (focusing on movement, body positioning, complicated kick combinations and learning to 'read' opponent) of Olympic sparring is also introduced.

This place is a disaster. First, they are horrible with communication. The people running the place (Master Aye and Grandmaster Taylor) are never there, and it is almost impossible to get them to respond via email. An email response takes at least one to two weeks if one is received at all.

They will close for just about anything (winter break, spring break, graduation, illness, renovations, moving, every single holiday under the sun) and will often only let you know the day of.

The online schedule is not completely accurate. For instance the int/adv + staff class on Wednesdays is truly only
