Wunderlin Engineering, Inc. is a well established engineering consultant firm, located for the over thirty years in North San Diego County, California. Mr. Wunderlin has over 40 years experience in land planning, civil engineering design, land surveying. He started Wunderlin Engineering in 1977. His areas of expertise include project feasibility, construction management, soils engineering and structural design.

Having completed over 2000 residential, commercial and institutional projects in San Diego County, Mr. Wunderlin's emphasis is hands-on management and direct involvement in all surveying and engineering projects.His cost saving and practical ideas have benefited hundreds of clients over the years. He has also served as an expert witness for construction defect litigation.
The land entitlement process has become extremely difficult in Southern California. We can help you navigate the maze of bureaucratic red tape that stands between you and a finished product. We draw upon decades of experiencee to develop a plan for you that will maximize your property's potential while minimizing your consultant and construction costs.
Our vast experience with a variety of projects provides for accurate initial site evaluations as well as a streamlined approval process. From single lots to multi-phased residential developments, we can handle your needs. We are also experienced in a wide range of commercial projects, including retail developement.
A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is required for all projects disturbing more than one acre. For all such projects, a Notice of Intent (NOI) must be filed with the State Water Resources Control Board.

The NOI contains a description of the proposed work as well as a certification by the property owner that their project will conform to all of the requirements of the NPDES General Permit, primarily the preparation and implementation of the SWPPP.The Notice of Termination (NOT), is filed upon project completion and ends the site's coverage for discharges under the General Permit.
