EXPERTISE & SPEED: We believe in possessing skills as sharp as our cutting shears. To keep up with modern trends and provide the flawless execution on all requests, every level of stylist at MaVo Hairlounge are required to invest in continued education. Our professional Services ensure you get what you want at the quality you expect, without having to spend an entire day at the salon.
If you are a existing client please call or text the salon in order to schedule your appointment with us. ALL CLIENTS are required to secure their appointment with a credit card. If cancelled less than 24h a 50% cancellation fee based of the full service amount will be charged to the card on file and non-refundable.
Clients who fail to provide 24 hour notice of cancellation will be charged 25% of the estimated full service value of their appointment. Please understand that arriving late may limit the time available for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your timely arrival is appreciated.

Before finding Mavo Hairlounge, I never really had a hairstyle... Back then, I was the single, short hair fade guy (not to say Mavo doesn't do fades... as a matter of fact she does them well).

I absolutely loved my first experience at Mavo Hairlounge and it certainly won't be my last! I know my fellow blondes will agree but finding the right blonding stylist is an ongoing search. I'm happy to say my search is over because Jenny totally nailed my full highlights, cut, and blow dry!
Since I visited the salon during COVID-19, my temperature was checked upon arrival and I was escorted to the sink to wash my hands. Each stylist's station was sanitized and everyone was wearing masks. I felt completely safe in this environment.

I am brand new to the Fort Lauderdale area and I found Mavo just through an online search. I have high maintenance hair so to find a new salon and stylist can be daunting. When I explained my hair style over the phone I was connected with Jenny and stopped in for a consult with her. Jenny was a sweetheart that understood exactly what I wanted and let me know she was happy to take me on as a client. The rest is history. I feel so lucky to have Jenny. She is an excellent colorist and extension master! She is also very detailed and takes great care of my hair. I couldn't recommend her more

I got my hair done with Marina and always recommend her when people ask for a hair stylist in Fort Lauderdale. It was my first time doing balayage and going lighter- my hair is pitch black- but Marina was confident which made me feel good about my decision. She was very nice and extremely fast! I was expecting this to be a much longer process but she jokingly said "I'm German, we're fast " and she was not kidding! I'm surprised how quickly she was able to lighten my hair and it didn't turn orange or yellow. Overall a great experience and I LOVED the way my hair turned

There is nothing like walking out of a hair salon after a fresh cut feeling confident. Too many times this doesn't happen and people walk out in tears, not in Mavo Hairlounge. It was easy to make an appointment online, and they were actually on schedule with their appointment times. Marina came highly recommended to me by several friends - all have different gorgeous hair who all come for different color treatments and cuts. This salon is absolutely excellent. To start everyone in the salon does a fantastic job. I go to Marina for hair color and highlights. She has done my hair extensions, I use great lengths... she does an excellent job, placement, color, and cut gets an A+ with her, I would highly recommend her for all these services. Alexa often does my bow outs and my hair has never looked better. It's an easy access salon with location and easy parking. I had an appointment with Jenny and she was pretty ok. She did my highlights (partial $130) well, even though I have had better job done. I feel like it was hard to notice much of a difference, I wish my hair was lighter and highlights were more noticeable.
She also did my hair cut and that was a bit of a disappointment. I had to tell her how to cut my hair as it looked like she had no (good) experience.
