Dr. Michaela Ene is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with teenage girls and women of all ages who struggle with stress management, anxiety, depression and a wide variety of emotional and behavioral dysregulation issues.
Dr. Ene earned her doctoral degree in 1999 from California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego (currently known as Alliant International University) and has practiced in San Diego County ever since.Dr. Ene's office is conveniently located within the Physicians Health Institute for Women. Her presence in the office allows the Women's Center providers and staff to access her expertise on a day to day basis.

Teah Caine, MD is a skilled, full spectrum Family Medicine Physician at Physicians Health Institute for Women in San Diego. She prides herself on delivering comprehensive, culturally sensitive care from cradle to grave focusing on the health of women and children in the community by providing low risk prenatal care, general gynecology, and general medicine for women of all ages.
Tiffani Phan, MD, is a skilled OB/GYN at Physicians Health Institute for Women in San Diego, California. Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Phan received her Bachelor's degree from University of California, San Diego in Human Biology and earned her medical degree from St. George's University, School of Medicine.
Dr. Karen Loper is a highly skilled physician specializing in the care of teenage girls and young women and has been providing medical care in the San Diego Community for over 21 years. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and Psychiatry from Stanford University and then attended Medical School at UCSD, completing her residency training at Harbor - UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Ca.

Don't go to Tiffani Phan unless you want a c section, because that is what she'll give you if there's any type of hiccups in your labor. She lacked empathy, manners, and decency when dealing with my wife. She doesn't know how to speak to people. People with her type of attitude shouldn't be doctors. It didn't come off like she even likes people or wants to help them. She may be technically skilled but she is not a good person ! ( we experienced her when we went to Scripps mercy hospital )

From when you first walk in, the staff and physicians are welcoming and friendly. The physicians are also very knowledgeable in their field of expertise, and really take the time to listen and get to know you. I recommend this office to anyone who is looking to build that type of relationship with their doctor.

I had a really great first appt here, establishing care through a well women visit. Dr. Phan created a really warm and safe space for me to open up about some symptoms I was having and some of my other concerns. I appreciated how she didn’t only discuss medical causes or solutions but mentioned external emotional stresses (which I sometimes forget can affect our bodies). I felt like she was really looking at the big picture!
Overall I felt like I was in great hands and would recommend Dr. Phan!

I first came to see Dr. Phan when I was about 3months pregnant. My previous OB/GYN was not delivering babies after the end of 2019, and my son was due in 2020. I am so glad she referred me to Dr. Phan.
I had hyperemesis during my pregnancy so I had pretty severe nausea until about 32weeks. Dr. Phan helped me get on a medication path that made my symptoms more manageable. She’s a wonderful doctor and she made me feel heard and taken care of.
The whole team at Physicians Health Institute for Women are amazing. Always helpful, friendly and professional. I would and have recommended this practice

Dr Phan was my obgyn for my entire pregnancy and I would not have changed it for the world. Your always greeted by a friendly face, office and waiting room is so clean and welcoming. I felt very connected to the assistant helping me with my vitals, she always asked how I was, how the babies father was. Even after he was born. They remember little aspects of your life that make me feel like they really care.
Dr phan is super efficient, this was my first pregnancy and she made me feel very at easy and managed to answer all my questions. I will definitely be back when I'm ready for baby #2

I cannot thank Dr. Phan and the entire staff at PHI for Women enough for the care that they provided throughout my entire pregnancy, during labor and now postpartum. I am by nature a fairly anxious person, and this being my first pregnancy I had a ton of questions and concerns along the way. Dr. Phan was always incredibly thorough in explaining everything, giving me all of my options and making sure that I left my appointments without any remaining questions. There were several times that I called the office with somewhat silly questions, and she always called me back personally to answer them
