We are always looking for qualified applicants to join our fast-growing, high-caliber team of healthcare professionals. Our nursing facility in San Diego is a home for more than just our residents-it's also a home for our employees. Applicants must meet certain minimum qualifications that are provided in the position posting.
At Hillcrest Heights Healthcare Center, we respect and care for every individual that walks through the doors of our skilled nursing facility. Our dedication to our residents shines through our words, actions, and personal care approach. When new residents are admitted into our nursing facility, they and their family members meet one-on-one with a facility representative to discuss expectations, needs, and concerns.
Regular visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visits are limited to these hours to allow our patients to rest. Outside of these hours, we lock our doors, as most patients are asleep. For before- or after-hours visits, please use the doorbell; our staff will be happy to assist you in entering the facility.

I just wanted to take a few mins and share the great experience I had and have at Hillcrest Heights medical center, it is always hard for us as people to care for or even assist in anyway with our family that is going through medical problems, I am so happy that the great team at Hillcrest Heights are there to help, I saw the staff really show they care about their family, I say family and not patients because at Hillcrest Heights they make really make you feel like family from when you get to the facility and even pass the facility, the whole team as a whole really made me feel at ease with leaving

I can honestly say all staff here is great from the nurses to the kitchen staff all very helpful and welcoming the administrator is very hands on and is good at making the stay here enjoyable and fun for everyone.My personal favorite staff is house keeping Sarita is great at keeping the area clean and helping keep rooms tidy and activities staff Monique is awesome and makes activities fun ,nursing RNA Clarita is awesome with answering call lights and making me feel at home and not like a patient . Big thanks to wound nurse Harold who helped me heal quickly !

This the best experience that I could have wished for after getting sick. The staff here are the best. The housekeepers, the kitchen staff and CNA'S give excellent service. The food gas been great and will help with whatever you need.
The cook will come to your room and ask you about the food you like and support with favorite foods. Very very helpful!
The administration will work to solve problems and are friendly. They have communicated well from social services and help with even the smallest things. Many of the team are bilingual and speak spanish which has been helpful for me in my own experience

Hillcrest Heights has been a wonderful place for my rehab and for recovery from my amputation and for getting my new prosthetic adjusted. The staff is very nice and supportive as well as respectful. Working with Justin the administrator has been wonderful he is on the floor and present. Jasmine and Sandra my CNAs have been amazing to work with. If you need recovery for anything come to this facility.

I work in healthcare and have visited many nursing homes over the last 10 years. Hillcrest Heights has a new and extremely dedicated team. The Administrator rounds often and knows each patient's name. The nurses are kind and patient. The physical therapy is attentive and provides great outcomes. I'd recommend Hillcrest Heights to anyone looking for quality post-hospital recovery.
