This mama is my best friend and I enjoyed taking these family photos for her! Her middle child is a little crazy and showed up with his arms covered in marker ink lol. We still managed to get great photos in the rose garden area on OU campus. We were in good company; LOTS of seniors were getting graduation photos done in that exact same spot since it was May!
I'm learning what I can't control as a photographer (and a human being). Things like weather, children's behavior (or baby's sleep schedule), and large crowds of people are beyond my control, but I know my camera and I can keep my cool under pressure! I've had a lot of fun getting to know this family since I took their first maternity photos a couple years ago!

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Mary and I am a full-time photographer and mom. I have specialized training and equipment for photographing your newborn, but I love shooting maternity, family, and baby sessions too! My favorite outdoor locations are the little gems I find while I'm out and about, and I study the light in those locations to make sure it is flattering for you and your family.
A: Your $150 deposit guarantees my availability 20 days before and 20 days after your due date. If there are any extenuating circumstances, medical or otherwise, that cause Baby to come significantly early or late and I cannot accommodate you, I will refund 100% of your deposit. That said, these are my favorite sessions so I will do my very best to get you in!
A: You decide! We can go to a park, nature area, or college campus that is special to you or your family, or head downtown for an urban feel. Let me know beforehand where you would like to go and I will let you know if any additional travel fees apply. I love to explore and include a variety of scenery in my portfolio, so I usually don't add on additional costs unless your session involves extensive travel.
