In Fort Collins Colorado, there are some rules that you must be aware of in order to finalize your divorce. Custody is a term that we use to explain the relationship parents that are no longer together have with their kids. Custody has two parts: physical and legal. Physical is the amount of time the child spends with each parent and legal is the ability to make decisions for the child. In Fort Collins Colorado, the Legislature determined that it did not like the idea that custody conveyed - that children were property of one parent of the other.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Brooke participated in the alienation and parental kidnapping of my children. Even after losing at permanent orders, (against only myself "pro se") and seeing first hand the vexatious nature of the allegations, she continued to represent her clients confabulations only hurting our children more. I'm pretty sure she felt used in the end, unfortunately the time to do what was right passed and that's karma. Better luck next time, as I hope this was a massive learning situation representing an extreme covert narcissist. Only 4 months after permanent orders

Worst experience I have ever had with a lawyer. Seemed Ike it was going to be a good thing but all they did was sit back, watch and never intervene when they should have. I would never recommend these people services with such delicate matter as your child. I wish I would have found someone else and payed for them to just sit back and watch me get put in a worse situation. They make it sound good at first and promising but then do not do anything at all.

Brooke has to be (well she is, I saw the award) one of the very BEST family law attorneys in the State, if not the Country. I visited over 5 different divorce lawyers & after my initial 1/2 hour consult, I knew she was the attorney for me and my kids. She puts the children 1st on many of the decisions she makes & that helped me keep an eye on the big picture as well. I met Brooke at Ask a Lawyer day which was a donation of her time. She told me to come in for a free 30 minute consultation, though it was clear to her I was unable to afford her services.
