You have a baby! Having a newborn baby to care for is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Right after birth, babies need many necessary tests and procedures to ensure their health. Babies need to go to the doctor for a check-up six times during their first year of life to make sure he/she is healthy and developing normally.
Regular well-child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy. Preventive care promotes healthy growth and development. At a well visit, the doctor will do comprehensive exams that are important to your child's overall health and well-being. During this visit, you can also discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child's health.
Our body's immune system helps protect against pathogens that cause infection. It either keeps microorganisms out or tracks them down and gets rid of them. However, sometimes the body doesn't recognize some of these pathogens. When this happens, it can cause serious illness. Vaccination is a way to "teach" the immune system how to identify and eliminate such pathogens.
Many children participate in physically demanding activities like football, soccer, cross country, swimming, baseball, etc. Seeing your pediatrician for sports physicals helps keep your child's medical records and health history up to date. Our pediatricians are trained to identify and treat both medical and bone/joint problems that are commonly seen in children and adolescents who play sports.

I am so sadden to hear that one of my favorite nurses Sulema is leaving this clinic. I had twins boys who were born prematurely and I had one in ICU because he was born with heart problems. I first asked another nurse if she could assist me with withholding some documents for me to get as history to show the Dr my concerns and she let me know she couldn’t help me. Nurse Sulema overheard and then went out of her way in making calls for me, getting paperwork for me, helping me fill out what I needed, and made things so much easier for me at such sensitive time for me. Unfortunately my twin didn’t

We took our daughter to Dr Emma. They way she examined the baby was amazing. Not like other doctors they barley touch or flip your baby. She is so generous that she will give you as much time as you want to ask questions. She will follow up with you over the phone personally and will ask if you have any more questions about the visit and medications given. I highly recommend coming here.

I love this doctor I stayed off Hammerly Blvd. I found this doctor I love them and the environment and the fact that the pharmacy is right next door. I moved all the way on the other side of town and people try and get me to change doctors but I won’t. I love them they make me feel so comfortable. My kids don’t even cry at the shots.

I was here today for a walk in app , as a first timer I did what to expect, but once I was on the back I was amazed by the staff the nurse and the check in desk personnel all as them are amazing
and The Dr. Dr Emma is so professional, caring, respectful , and showed Interest in my children and ask then all that needs to be asked.
