Dr. Maria Reyes grew up in East Texas where her father was an OB/GYN physician who not only inspired her, but also allowed her to experience his vocation firsthand. For years, my father was the only OB in town. I saw the positive impact he had in our community. I loved going with him on rounds, even when I was very young.
Receiving quality, obstetrical care is very important. Our physicians at AWH specialize in both low risk and high risk pregnancies. While many women are blessed with healthy, uncomplicated pregnancies, some women experience high-risk pregnancies. High-risk pregnancies can have many causes, including previously existing medical conditions, advanced maternal age, lifestyle choices, pregnancy complications or by carrying multiples.
Many women have problems with urinary incontinence after childbirth and/or menopause. Urinary incontinence means that you are not always able to control when you urinate. This can be very embarrassing and many women are reluctant to discuss this problem with their doctor. About 12 million women are affected with urinary incontinence in the United States.
The muscles of the pelvic floor are located at the bottom of the pelvis. These muscles attach to the pubic bone in the front and the tail bone in the back. The muscles are shaped like a sling and help to support the bladder and other organs of the pelvis. These muscles surround the anus, vagina and urethra and help to control urination, defecation and intercourse.

Dr. Eye has been an attentive and caring doctor throughout my pregnancy. I’m a first time mom and she takes time to answer all of my questions and offers reassurance/ advice when I’m concerned. Everyone at this clinic is friendly and makes an effort to check on you/ remembers you as a person not just another patient. If you are looking for a caring and informative obgyn, I can’t recommend this clinic enough!

Made an appointment. They messaged me the day before no children allowed. I assumed that didn't mean newborns since they are an OB. They turned me away bc I had my breastfed, sleeping newborn in her stroller. What should I do with her? Get her a babysitter at the ripe age of 0? Completely unrealistic.

First time mommy to be and am very happy with choosing AWH! As a first time pregnancy I have a lot of concerns, but Dr. Eye has been very kind, open and reassuring. Love how she takes time in and out of the office to address any of my questions and concerns. The rest of the staff is also very nice and attentive.

I really dislike the way this office operates and switching OBs ASAP. Like other reviews, it's difficult to communicate with your doctor. If you call the office, the options they provide you are a joke and route you to nowhere. I don't find Dr. Heintges compassionate and she is a bit too casual for my liking. I felt like my concerns were dismissed every step of the way and in the end my nightmare became a reality. I wish I read the earlier reviews because my experience felt the exact same.
The nurse staff is also not good - terrible bedside manner and not capable of filling out standard forms

I couldn't be happier with AWH! Everyone is very friendly and punctual. The facility is always super clean and organized.
Dr. Heintges and her team absolutely rock! She has a very upbeat, fun personality and is always real--which I love and appreciate! I always feel super comfortable around all of them them. They are very easy to talk to and respond promptly to any questions I have regarding my first pregnancy!

Had a really great experience on my first visit. Dr Eye is awesome and also appreciate her assistant Ria. I am pretty sure they will make me and my wife’s journey to parenthood enjoyable. I've been coming to Dr. Napier at AWH for probably about 8 years now, after seeing many different doctors when I first moved to DFW and feeling like my concerns weren't heard. Dr. Napier fully listened to my concerns and was able to figure out what was going on, and is the reason I was finally able to get pregnant after trying for 4 years. So glad I found AWH and will now be delivering my second baby boy with them now!

Updating my review because I don't think any of the rude office staff works there anymore? Yesenia at the front desk is always lovely as previously stated. Dr. Sigman addresses my needs and takes me seriously which is hard to find in doctors nowadays. Ive been a patient here for almost 10 years and will keep going here until i move elsewhere!

Awesome experience so far during my pregnancy! The office takes many covid precautions and I am always in and out for my prenatal checkups quickly. Dr. Napier has been very helpful with answering all of my questions along the way, and has given me some Greta information regarding pregnancy and covid. Highly recommend!

Advanced Women's Healthcare provides wonderful experience to patients. The facility is clean, staff is helpful and kind and the doctors are informative and caring. I have seen Dr Heintges for YEARS! She is seriously amazing, her nurse Carolina is great too and has been with her for years also!
I recently moved 9 hours away, so I had to start seeing a new OBGYN in South Texas and now that I'm pregnant we are moving back and I'm sooooo happy to be transferring back to Dr. Heintges and Advanced Women's Healthcare.
A young lady named yosinda (I'm sure the spelling is off, I'm so sorry!) she helped me with getting my records transferred from the office here in South Texas and she was soooo helpful and prompt and very polite!

I would like to recommend the AWH and Dr Harms to anyone seeking for women's healthcare. My wife was pregnant when we just moved to Dallas. Then we met with Dr Harms in AWH, she was so kind to us every time. We could always see her energetic smile when we came for the routine pregnant inspection. It made us not so strange to the new environment and feel quite comfortable.
