We are here for children's dental emergencies and are limiting to one family at a time and checking for elevated temperature with a laser forehead touchless reader. Restorative dental treatment is not easy for anyone, especially children! We take the time to get to know each child to asses his/her comfort level.
When required, conscious sedation is provided in a very safe and comforting manner with little memory of the visit, and parents stay with their child through the entire visit. Children with special needs such as Autism, Sensory Integration, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, and children who are simply shy, anxious and uncomfortable, can present challenging issues while in the dental setting.

The American Association for Orthodontists recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. Early detection and treatment gives your child the edge: a much better chance for natural and normal development. By working with the natural growth instead of against it, we can prevent problems from becoming worse, and give your child a lifetime of healthy smiles!

I grew up going to Dr. Healey as a kid (I’m 43 now) and I only wish I could find as good a dentist as he is for my own kid (we live out of state). I know so many adults that don’t like the dentist, but I never mind going and I contribute that to Dr. Healey’s care when I was a kid. He made things fun and not scary (I had plenty of cavities as a kid), and he taught me (as a kid) to brush my teeth better. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Healey!

Dr. Healey and his staff were amazing with my 4-year-old son. From the office décor (which reminded me of Old Orchard Beach, Maine), to the Disney movies playing in the waiting room, to the brightly colored chairs and toys, the office is child-centered from the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Healey and Ms. Elaine were patient and kind and established rapport with my son in order to make the visit successful and accomplish the exam, cleaning, and x-ray. I have already recommended this practice to our neighbor.

Dr. Healey did amazing work with my daughter who had considerable trouble with teeth not growing in correctly. Everyone who works there was a joy to be around - always cheerful and treating us like good friends. It made a good experience out of what could have been a difficult process for a young teen. I highly recommend this practice to everyone.

My two children have had Dr. Healey as their dentist for their entire lives. The whole experience has been great. Both children needed braces and it was good to be able to go to one place for both dental and orthodontic care.
The staff has been fabulous as well. Always accommodating, always pleasant even when we have had to cancel appointments with too little notice.

Dr. Healey and his staff are incredible! Heard from the backseat while driving home from an appointment there: "When can we go back again?" They take great care of my kids' dental and orthodontic needs and have quite easily gotten my children over their fear about going to the dentist. Highly recommended.

Ruined my mouth. Caused TMJ. Spent the next 8 years (totalling 12) in braces undoing the damage and had incredibly intense surgery to undo the damage caused from braces. Total lack of actual knowledge or care about children's mouths. Moved the bottom jaw completely out of place causing permanent life long damage. Obviously in it for the money. Pretentious dentist and staff, both children dreaded every appointment and were much better once we ditched Healey. Refuses to listen to parents or patients and doesn't work with you at all.

I can highly recommend Michael Healey. Visits are fully focused on keeping my kids at ease. The dental advice provided to us was very clear and useful, allowing us to take the best care of our children. His carrousel parties allow our kids to acquaint themselves well to the office in a fun part-like environment. I like this dentist so much; I even brought my parents to show off how good of a care their grandchildren are receiving. They were very impressed! I cannot imagine a better dentist for my kids!

Healey treated my 7 y.o. son for a 1-2 year period. We have left this practice because of the following:
1. Odd-ball, invasive recommendations such as the need to have the base of his tongue clipped in order for him to be articulate. Nonsense! You can't find a more articulate child his age.
2. X-rays done almost every visit. Way over the top; unnecessary radiation exposure for a child. No matter how 'safe' Healey says these X-rays are, that is under ideal conditions and even then there is a need to be frugal when firing x-rays at children.
3. Arrogant attitude. Basic questions
