Family Involvement Center
When you or someone in your family has emotional, physical or behavioral health challenges, getting help (or even asking for it) can be hard. So we simplify the process for you, ensuring you get the care you need, regardless of where you live in Arizona. You see, we're a family-run organization driven by parents who've been in your position.

Whether you're struggling with a child diagnosed with autism, working to regain custody from DCS raising your grandchildren, or just need parenting classes to refine your skills, we know what you're going through.
Services
Family Involvement Center is a Family-Run Organization. This means we are governed by a board composed of at least 51% parents who are or who have raised children with unique challenges. Additionally, our staff are primarily parents who have "lived" experience navigating, advocating for and receiving services and supports to help their own children and families be successful.
In 2002, I created the Family Involvement Center after years of experiencing this struggle first-hand. You see, my children grew up with many challenges, one had many behavioral health challenges and the other had physical health challenges. Since their childhoods, we've been on a continuous journey.
When you're a parent to someone with complex behavioral, mental health or medical needs, it's common to feel like more could be done to help. You may even feel you're not being heard or valued as the primary source of information for your child. Please understand, you're not alone. In fact, if you're struggling to find appropriate support, your frustrations will just keep growing.
Youth programs for individuals experiencing social, emotional or behavioral health challenges. Family Involvement Center's youth programs provide youth of all ages with support and skills for reaching behavioral health goals.

The program held after school hours offers fun, engaging activities using various curricula and approaches, including, the Nurtured Heart Approach, Trauma Informed Approach, Physical Health and Wellness, and Mind Up Curriculum. The relationship-focused methodology is designed to equip youth with the qualities needed to become healthy, caring and responsible individuals.
When dealing with life's stresses, a family crisis or a mental health challenge, professional counseling can often bring clarity and solutions to your situation. In many cases, this professional guidance is key in helping you overcome difficulties. Our counseling services are provided by master's level therapists licensed in Arizona.

So far I'm not impressed. On 3/29 I reached out inquiring about services. When explaining why I wanted services the "scheduler?" made the comment " I sounded happy" (red flag 1). She stated someone would be contacting me to schedule an intake, in a few days, which never happened. I called again and was able to schedule an intake for 04/13, two weeks after the original call for services. I assumed the intake would go over all of my concerns and symptoms but it was basically an immediate crisis intake and paperwork. I need to mention when I told the worker I did not have any goals, that statement

I love working with Diane she has helped in so many ways. We were at rock bottom just being told what was going on with my son she helped pull us up and show how to be more of an advocate for my child. We have came a long way still have a long way to go but she is beyond an amazing rock star.
